WANTED: My apologies to my swap buddy!

Seems the mailox / business center that I use, made a mix up and shipped my partner's swap box BACK TO ME instead of mailing it east. So back out it went!

I was very surprised to find that big box on my steps as I had alredy received MY swap box from Bizzo

After trying to control my hissy fit, I got the biz center to send it out and they will cover shipping.

Hang in there partner! It's on its way!

Thanks everyone for your replies. Lou, years ago the right side of his lot was a dirt road/service easement used by the county. They were no longer using it and the previous owner purchased from the county. Thats why the back right side is shaped like that. morph, Im not sure about monthly feedings, I think the cost would be way to high. S.A. typically requires, for optimum results 4-6 lbs of N per year for full sun areas. Do you use milogantie along with grains? rcnaylor, great idea. that would be a big job for an acre. rose, funny you said that. I was talking to him last night and mentioned the same thing about buy grains in bulk and possible saving some money. He was all for it. How would one go about ordering Black hen in bulk, and whats the price. On a side note, did you read my post on Alfalfa pellets with Sodium Bentonite? Its on the main page. Any other ideas are greatly appreciated

I'm sorry for requesting the list so soon. I wasn't trying to start anything or cause a problem for the swap. I just remembered that last year it was being posted and updated all along as people were joining. I wasn't trying to only send to a few that had their lists up before everyone else, just so you all know. I am just still very new in knowing what kinds of things others want is all. I thought if I saw something on several lists that it must mean a lot of people might like that type of seed is all. I am making an order because I have to if I want to have anything to send in. I would hate to make an order for things that nobody is wanting. It's no big deal, though. I'll just place an order for things that I want and hopefully others will be putting some of the same items on their own want lists so that I can share the extras. I think I'll go ahead and place the order, then put down what I ordered on my "haves" list so others can add them to their wants if they're at all interested in them. I hope that sounds like a good plan. Again, I apologize. I absolutely did not want to cause any problems. I was just trying to see if I would be able to have anything to send in that others wanted. Maggie I'LL tell you about me and frogs. During a swap, our little Miss Cheater Pants, aka JESSY, got my name. I was a little new to the group so Jessy researched my name here on the forum and she found some old posts over on the Reptile/Amphibian Forum, I had posted asking for help in getting rid of all the frogs that were all over our porch. They were pooping everywhere and peeing everywhere and it was just horrible!!!! So Jessy took off with this frog idea and she sent me the funniest swap package; it had frog shaped pasta, an apron with frogs on it, rubber frogs that were threaded on shish kabobs, Gosh I can't even remember all of it. But I laughed so hard I had to go change. So that's where the frogs came from.

Tikanas, frustrating for you, but don't worry about your swap buddy - I say this as someone still waiting for a swap package mind you -- we all like to tease, but I really don't mind waiting, and I'm sure the rest of us (with a few notable exceptions of course!) don't really mind either!

Tikanas, I'm sure it will be worth the wait for whoever receives your package.

On my continuing saga, I'm going with the theory that UPS tracking just isn't getting updated, because, according to them, the two boxes I sent out are still here in my home state. They were supposed to arrive yesterday and my swap partner didn't post yet, so it just might be true.

When I tried to track my package the recorded voice told me the package HAD ARRIVED at MY HOUSE the day they picked it up! (UPS.com said the same thing) When I finally got a live person they told me the number was recycled; i.e. used again for it's journey to the East Coast but the technology hadn't recognized the fact. Said it was set to arrive Thursday and it did. But for awhile I was afraid it was coming back!
