Wow Stacey, your second swap box got there very quickly. And I'd say everything is just perfect for Maryanne. I love that mixing bowl and how perfect to send some gardening things. I know that both you and Maryanne have gardening in common. It is difficult enough to put one swap box together but to put two such wonderful and yet totally different gifts , well I'm impressed.

For those that aren't aware of what happened, this is the second swap box that Stacie sent to Maryanne. The first one unfortunately, didn't survive the not so gentle handling of UPS. Stacie was kind and generous enough to put together a whole other swap box to send to Maryanne. Since this was Maryanne's first swap I know it was very important to Stacie that Maryanne enjoyed the experience.

Maryanne, I know that a few of the items that Stacie sent you in the first box did survive. I can't remember what they all were but I think there was some of Stacie's canning in there. Maybe you could share some of those things with us too.

That pasta is so cute, Makayla would love that. I like the bowl, it would be perfect for muffins or pancakes I think. The spreaders are great spring colors.

Of course, those green garden gloves just jumped right off the page at me. LOL

What a great swap package. And some of stacie's canned stuff too? That makes it perfect.

WOW I am amazed that the box got there so nice and quick. This box was dropped off at the post office Wednesday afternoon and there already. I went with a different theme this time around..... Unbreakable and looks like all the parts of this box made it in one piece. I was nervous after last Friday's experience LOL.

Out of the first box I think that the Jar of homemade sourkraut made it, the pickled red onions, and maybe the salsa made the trip okay, also an Anchor Hocking vintage bowl with handle, a vintage blue canning jar with zinc lid filled with orange, apple cinnamon potpouri that I made, two pairs of hot pads, a set of hand towels, and also hopefully some of the vintage linens that I sent came out of the wash okay. Hopefully Maryanne can let me know if this is right.

It wasn't a big deal to start over, not with a 3 and 1 year old to help and being pregnant( just kidding) It was kind of fun to be able to shop twice for a partner for things that I thought that she would like.

I can vouch for Stacie's generosity and fine swap package creating! How kind of her to do it twice to make sure Maryanne's first swap was a success. That bunny pasta is too cute. We used to get different themed pasta when the kids were little--who knew pasta could be so fun!

Wow it certainly sounds like you got two wonderful boxes! I love those batter bowls, mine is a Pampered Chef and not nearly as cute as your vibrant red! For your first swap, Stacie really went overboard filling two boxes! How sweet is that?

WOW! What a cool box and I can't believe the how fast Stacie put together another one. Just goes to show ya what a great bunch of swappers we have here. That mixing bowl will be perfect for pancakes and waffles for sure. Enjoy it all Maryanne!!

i apologize stacie and ann for not mentioning the first box. i wasn't sure the protocol in light of ups's mistreatment of the box and the multiple breakage of items.

we are in fact enjoying some canned saurerkraut and an onion relish and stacie also sent me homemade potpourri. a few tomato type items exploded and most came out of cloth items, but not all and not for lack of spraying and soaking.

yes, i agree...i was treated very well my first swap. it's sad that the first box was so mishandled by the shipping company and i do hope stacie is able to recoup her loss. i did take pictures and forwarded them for her claim. the first box was certainly a fantastic theme (not in any way discounting the second) and i am going to steal the theme (fair warning stacie LOL).

we had cornmeal pancakes this morning and it was just the perfect bowl to mix in - i love it and i love the color.

Stacie both your packages were wonderful, even if one didnt make it in one piece. I felt terrible when just one of the pieces I sent in my swap box didnt make it. Those spreaders are adorable. Great job!
