Cathy, I'm glad everything arrived safe and sound. I thought that little grater was just too cute to pass up. The Meyer Lemons that I used were sent to me from Granjan, so I guess it's forum marmalade.
The olive theme just fell into place. I think I'm going to go back to the shop that I found the dishtowel in, linen towels are hard to find, don't know why I didn't pick one up for myself... Really glad the plates came in handy.

Paulines, Red Haven peaches are my favorite type for canning. Probably my first choice for any use. They are grown here along the shore line of Lake Michigan. Other varieties are also grown, but Red Havens are a long standing 'the best'. This past summer the peaches were the largest I've ever seen. They had their famous red blush and were extremely sweet and flavorful. So I made lot's of canned peaches along with the jam. The gourmet shops around here that have jams, always make a big point out of the Red Haven Jam as the ultimate.

Very, very nice...I know you'll enjoy it all, Cathy. My sis called this weekend to tell me about her friends grabbing spoons and digging into the Meyer lemon vanilla bean marmalade we made at Thanksgiving. All I got was pan scrapings...and she STILL hasn't sent my lemons (though she did say her tree had baby lemons on it.)

Nancy, Red Havens are my favorite for canning. I thought I got some pretty good Washington peaches, but when I was in Michigan last summer (a bit south though!), the produce was all incredible.

Thanks for the 'splaination, Nancy! I didn't realize that Red Havens were a type of peach, ooops, lol. Peach jam is one of my absolute favorites!

Oh, those plates are so pretty, I love them! Nancy must have a touch of ESP to put together a package so perfect and with perfect timing, too!
