James, you always send the most wonderful, thoughful swap boxes. So please don't stress. Your partner is going to be thrilled with whatever you send him/her, especially if it is something that is a favourite of yours.

Yes, your not alone James, but thats what makes the Swaps fun. Almost like Christmas, trying to find just the right thing. Don't worry too much, because I have yet to see, anyone here on this Forum, disappointed. I know I haven't been. Diana55

Jim, I've done more swaps than just about anyone and I still get nervous about it. Ditto what Diana said. And mainly - just have fun with it - have a good time looking in the shops, buy a little something for yourself, LOL. And in the end your package will be appreciated. I am always thrilled when my swap box comes!

I can appreciate what you're feeling too. This is my second swap, and I was very anxious during the first one, I guessed and second guessed myself out of and into a million different decisions as to what to send to my swap buddy. In the end, I stayed pretty close to the theme of the swap, and I know my partner enjoyed what I sent her. I also loved the swap box I received - and really, we are all friends here, so how could we NOT love whatever we are giving and receiving???? Now if I could just master posting pictures.....:-)

I skipped this time, too much going on here..but I will be watching, and hope to join in next time. That way Michelle has some one to pick on!

Jim, you just have cold feet because of being on your own. You can do it! Don't worry, you were a terrific swap partner and sent me an excellent package! I use everything and think of you often! I'm sitting this one out, so feel free to email or call and bounce things off me.

Jim - I totally understand - it's harder not having the DH or DW around to bounce your ideas off of. I just jumped in and this is my second swap on my own - I think I have a great idea and three related items for my partner based on a theme...

Jim, I hear ya man...I still freak out with the whole thing but I do enjoy it once I'm done shopping.....second guessing...returning or more so keeping things. Not sure about these tap dance shoes with sparkles though....LOL!

Jim, me, too. I can tell you that I get the biggest smile on my face when I find a swap package on my doorstep. I went berserk buying stuff on my first swap and then had a hard time narrowing it down for the "three item" swaps. Once you get started shopping you won't be able to stop!
