WANTED: Found my 1st swap item!

He he he....I'm thrilled to have found my 1st item...feeling like I'm getting a handle on where I'll take this. Now I have to figure out how to make it work within the 3 item limit. Hmm.... :)

I've started shopping in my mind, and know of 2 items that are a definite for my swap partner. And they are actually favorites of mine too! Diana, how long do I have to wait to see a skeleton????

Oh, rats! I missed this one - that's what I get for letting my new motorcycle obsession overtake my planty obsession, lol. :-\ Would have been a straight shot up the highway to Oak Grove, too! Dang... Anyway, I have a couple of mystery short daylilies needing a home that I've posted in the Exchanges if anybody locally is interested, would really like to trade for a solid deep red daylily that I'm seeing bloom right now, or a Red Ribbons spider daylily. Webkat, I sure wish I'd been to the swap - sounds like it was great! I still have stuff I haven't put in the ground yet, and keep finding purple ruffles basil that I am still freecycling that I sure could have brought in, along with hopi red dye amaranth seedlings, lol. Steve, I have to lead a field trip that day so I probably can't make it. Would you do me a favor and let people know that if they want to take some cuttings from the salvias at Rancocas Nature Center they can. If anyone asks they should say that Ward says it's OK. As the gardens there evolve and there is more and better variety I'm hoping a tradition of taking cuttings will develop, ideally on the day you have your plant swap, if that's alright with you.

UMMMM I have 3 of my catagories, now just need to organize and finish lol.;)

Looking foreward to this swap, it has been a year since my last swap, the one were I was lucky enough to send 2 packages since the first one was destroyed.

Diana...nope, not pale at all..but I'm not sure I like the silver bikini with the blonde hair. Next time I think one that matches your hair band would be way cool!

Maybe wearing a black bikini would help minimize your spare tire Diana. You know how black is always so slimming. The sunglasses really emphasize your bone structure, however:-)

I just found a post where my partner mentions something that tells me that the 1st swap item I was so jazzed about will NOT do at all. Uh oh :(
I'll explain after the swap :-)
On a brighter note it won't ruin the whole lil idea...I'll just find another favorite! :)

I am so excited to be done shopping for my partner. Now to finish the handmade portion of the swap. And shop for packing materials, I learned my lesson a year ago lol.

Well, I think I know what I am getting, now I just need to find the time to go get it. I used to always buy one for me, one for myself, but I am going to be a good girl and not do that this time.

I HAVE A THEME!! I HAVE A THEME!!
I looked WWWAAAYYY back on an old thread and a little something my swapper posted about 3 years ago caught my eye and it has nothing to do with mice, frogs, crocs or the feet of any animal LOL!!

I know where to buy the main item and the rest I will leave up to chance when I go out shopping this weekend.
The 3 item rule is one I have trouble following (my bad) but I promise to do my best-scouts honor!! LOL

I'm ready to ship, and I'm sending only one item. Actually it is two items, but they are a pair. It was difficult to convince myself to limit to one item, but I think it is a good rule, and I'm very happy with my choice. I just hope my partner likes what I'm sending as much as I do!

Smug smile here! I decided on my theme earlier this week and today I found the perfect gifts!!! I am done and I am doin' a happy dance!
