WANTED: Swap partner, I want you to know...

I have finally kicked myself in the butt and started shopping. I just ordered two lovely things from Amazon and they will arrive within days. A lightbulb went off in my head and voila, another idea came to mind - if I can only plow my way into town through the snowstorm to get it. But partner, you're worth it. :D I told my crazy husband who asked "Why can't you take the kids with you?" that a perfect Valentine's Day gift would be to let me go into town by myself, since there are lots of breakables (!) in this store and we don't have enough insurance. LOL Once I finally sat down and did some research, it was really quite easy. I just wish I would have thought of all this when the weather was better! :P

My last item was scheduled to be delivered yesterday but when I checked the tracker it had bee delayed because of weather. Keeping fingers crossed for today!

Phyllis - Did you go out sans kids???

Yeah that's what I want to know..with or without Kidletts?

I'm still in the gathering process..life got in the way! But I hope to nail it all down by Wednesday and get it in the mail!

Maggie I'LL tell you about me and frogs. During a swap, our little Miss Cheater Pants, aka JESSY, got my name. I was a little new to the group so Jessy researched my name here on the forum and she found some old posts over on the Reptile/Amphibian Forum, I had posted asking for help in getting rid of all the frogs that were all over our porch. They were pooping everywhere and peeing everywhere and it was just horrible!!!! So Jessy took off with this frog idea and she sent me the funniest swap package; it had frog shaped pasta, an apron with frogs on it, rubber frogs that were threaded on shish kabobs, Gosh I can't even remember all of it. But I laughed so hard I had to go change. So that's where the frogs came from.

Phyllis, just stay safe, I am sure your partner would not want you to get snowed in at a shop full of "lovelies"!

My box is all wraped and ready to go, so I wil be dropping it at the PO by Saturday!

Darnit, I didn't get out today. I hope to go tomorrow when/if David is in preschool. They'd better not cancel! So stop snowing, ya hear??

I'm waiting for another 30 minutes..then heading to the "county" seat..LOL Which is the next town down from me on the Island..It's quaint cute and has about 2 main streets..I'll be on the waterfront...(the shops don't open until 11.)

Didn't find anything for my swap partner there. Wahhaaaa. oh but wait I did buy hubby his favorite Berry Bear Claw (size of a dinner plate and filled with berries!) and picked up a few things for my kitchen and my boys easter baskets...
Came back to my town and found something...That's one part of the 3 down....LOL

My final item arrived yesterday so I'm packing everything up and am hoping DH can take it to UPS for me tomorrow!

I'm finally making progress. Part one arrived in the mail today, part 2 should be done by the end of this week. Part 3 is easy and then voila, my package will go west (hint hint). :D No preschool this week so I need to get creative in tethering the children while I pick things up! LOL

I did finally get to go out with only one kid, which made it easier. The weather finally let up enough that I could get out. Sarah was quiet or asleep most of the time, which helped!
