What a great surprise, getting the swap package and getting to meet your swap partner at the same time!

I know Diana likes the various sea salts and everyone needs more silicon utensils. It's a perfect package.

Many have been afraid to post the truth due to past issues. I'm so proud of you for having the courage to move forward and post the truth. It's so sad to see a member prey on new GW members. Well, I was also new when I started in with the one I posted for. I believe this member keeps the good stuff for her friends and takes from the new users. I so hope that the other member returns who was also a new GW member. As I stated before, there are SO many honest, friendly and generous traders here on GW. Hmmm, took the chocolate, did he??? LOL!! Well, I hope he appreciated that the chocolate has citrus infused olive oil in it. The olive oil, chocolate, and napkins came from the Temecula Olive Oil Company, just south of here. They have their own orchards in the Temecula Wine Country and make their own products. I bought a bottle of that garlic infused olive oil for myself and my 3 sisters for our BD's. (I also bought the blood orange infused olive oil and the vanilla balsamic vinegar for me too--their products are YUM :-))) Hope you enjoy them, julie! Barb

I also love that bowl - it's great. And the edible goodies are mouthwatering. That's supposed to be The Word on Italian Cooking. I have the book, but have been too daunted to know where to start. Marcia - please do post any recipes you try on the discussions thread. And for the rest of you who have this book, please let me know which recipes you recommend. With over 1200 (and no editorial comments), I don't know where to start. Enjoy it all. Lynn.

No matter what your UPS delivery person looks like, getting your package in person still has to take the cake.

I love the tote bag - Lori you definitely found things perfect for Diana. The right coffee too? Awesome!

I think it is really great that Lori was able to save the money on shipping. That looks like a very heavy package. That seasoned salt sounds wonderful. A fun thing to play with in the kitchen. Can we see pictures of the swap items please?

I'm so glad you liked the package, Diana. It was as much a treat for me to present it to you in person.

In the package was some coffee that Diana drinks (I found out about this on an older post). It turns out the coffee she likes is packaged right here in RI.

Jessica tipped me off by letting me know Diana likes salts. Although I've never tried these salts, they just seemed so interesting with flavors I saw from other posts Diana liked. When I saw they were going to Penzy's together a couple of weeks ago, I decided to ask Jessy to spy for me to see what she'd like. (Thank you again, Jessy!!!)

There were also some kitchen utensils and towels that matched her adorable kitchen.

Rather than present it to her in a box, I put everything in a tote bag to make travel back to CA a little easier. The tote bag had slots in it for pictures. Diana is an incredible photographer, so hopefully this will get some good use.

Diana, I was so happy to meet your in person. I hope you enjoy your package. Have a safe trip back home!

Lori, I loved all those wonderful, wonderful things but even better, I loved meeting you. What a great surprise! Did Jessica know that you were presenting it in the, uh, flesh?? That was so cool! You guys, I've been out most of the day (we just saw "Spamalot") so I'll have to take pictures of the items later. But the towels are so perfect for the happy citrus kitchen and the utensils are all lime green, one of my colors. The tote bag is the same color, too. I told Lori I was going to take pictures of my cats and put in the little windows. The coffee is the perfect thing (even more perfect knowing its packed in your state, Lori!) and I can't wait to try the salts. I love collecting salts! Lori, thank you again so very much!!!

'It's good to be the swap spy'. Once that backfired on me! Someone asked me a kosher question, I thought it would be for Arabella, nope, it as for me.

Diana, how convenient you make it, having your kitchen pix online. I knew there was a good chance she'd be able to deliver in person, I was just holding my breath.

Bwaahaaa. Great job, Lori. I did the tote thing once too, great minds.
