What? ? ??

? ? ? is going on around here?

Yesterday I saw a post from dcarch that showed a very unusual fruit salad.

He also seemed to be trying to "smooth" things over between some dissenting members.

Today I wanted to show that picture to a friend, and the whole post is gone.

So I started a new post asking what happened to it.

Now that one is gone, too!

I really don't remember anything in the fruit salad post that would be offensive, nor was there anything in my post that could be considered offensive, I don't think.

Are there some hidden rules somewhere that we aren't allowed to see?

All I wanted was a picture of the 'Full of Holes' fruit salad.

trusty, I didn't see either one so no idea what may have been contentious. Perhaps you should ask the forum moderator. No one else has the power to pull threads.

Thanks, chase.

But who is the forum moderator, and how do I contact him/her?

RE: What? ? ??

Rusty,

I am glad I catch your post here early enough before others answer.

I am glad in a way that the posts got pulled. Near the end, there were already personal attacks directed at me. I certainly do not want that kind of ugliness to develop in the CF.

It’s OK. I will post again. So leave this one alone. The picture of what’s going on is very clear to everyone(well, almost); There is no need for me to have the last word.

Give me a little time I will post that again.

Thanks, dcarch

I didn't realize there were personal attacks against you, too.
There is no call for any of that, here or anywhere else, for that matter.

Has the moon been full lately? Maybe that would account for all the meaness and cattiness that has gone on. ;>)

I will be looking forward to more pictures of your food art.

How I wish I had even a drop of your creativeness with presentation. And tastiness, too.

Again, thanks,
Rusty

dcarch, I never got around to saying how much I enjoy your presentations. That was lovely and I always open your posts.
