LOVE Jeff Lewis and Flipping Out !

I like the show Flipping Out, but I do not need help decorating - just with the costs! We have so many original paintings in the house now (with more in storage in the garage) that I do not think we need a make-over, although I would like to change the wall color in the dining room/art studio. I told my boss last week that I have never been able to afford any of the furniture designs that we have produced, and she said that she wants to help me with that. BTW, Jeff Lewis visited the sidewalk sale that we had in West Hollywood across the street from our showroom last February and he had his significant other with him. Although I do like Jeff Lewis, I have very different taste in colors - he uses way too much brown, and excessive brown, especially darker browns, I find depressing. I have very different taste in colors for exteriors/outdoors than I do for interiors.

I did try to sign up for the back yard make-over by the Australian guy on HGTV when I first bought the house, but I'm glad I didn't get chosen because I'm happy with how I worked it out on my own, although having done for free would have been nice.

I did mention this to some of my other friends, and they might sign up for this.

I don't like the garden makeover shows on HGTV. It seems to me that instead of making a garden, all they do is create a lot of hardscape -- patios, firepits, etc. Very little green, growing plants.

I hope one of your friends gets picked. I just adore Jeff. His sense of humor is a riot. I love Zoila and Jenny, too.

I prefer to keep my marriage intact LOL.

Our TV is rarely on in our house, I've never watched these shows. But I'll pass on the idea to friends!
