Whata ya think we have???

Our very first little great grandson, Matthew Elliott Jelley Jr. born this afternoon, weighing in at 8 lbs 1 oz. He has 2 sisters, Blythe and Madeline. Everyone is doing fine and we are so pleased.

This is neat! I headed straight to the ts to check for things to make this with. I'll have to wait to come up with a clear lamp as they only had china ones. I suppose the china would work, but I'd like to make one in clear glass with cobalt pieces. This looks like something the squirrels wouldn't be able to destroy by chewing on it!!!

Ahhhh, thanks for the encouraging words, Denise. Yip, thats them. I went the el cheapo route, I used a heating pad (used for sore muscles)instead of buying a heat mat. I just had a thought, if this works, I could have a *bunch* of BIG jars sitting around instead of small solo cups. . .YIKES! (shaking head to erase the thought) It's actually a side table, I have a smaller one too. I got them @ Ross for $14.00. I've had them for awhile, but never noticed the design. I did get a really nice bakers rack from there too. It's in my BR. I like it b/c the sun shines thru the shelves, and it's easy to clean. All 5 shelves are full of hoyas :) Maid~

I think it's a weedling. I've never heard of a sport unattached to the momma plant. And yes it's true that 99% of the time that you get a green plant, you can get a variegated one on rare occasions. I've never worked with Antioch so I don't know how stable it is or isn't. In any case, it's a nice looking plant. If you end up registering it, however, it should be unknown x unknown for the parentage. Cuz you just don't know for sure. Steve

Sorry, I just saw this topic, I didn't know it had been resurrected again. Natal, Paula lost weight eons ago. Old news. Do you work for Google? :) Lukk, Paula is the one who made her health public. She's had the disease for a few years now and she is going to make money from advertising a new medication for diabetes. Since she kept it a secret for so long while cooking high carb and DELICIOUS food, lol, speculation is she only "came out" because of the money. Which rubbed a LOT of people the wrong way, even others on the Food Network. Tina, I did see the interview, she's in denial when she said there's only a "few" people who were mean. Once more she hedged and said how much her family loves her. But I guess I'd do the same. It's not going to die down unless she stops those interviews with Al. I'll still watch her show unless she starts cooking "light." Everybody with a brain knows it's all about moderation. It's like telling an Italian cook with Diabetes to can the pasta. lol I have to wonder though, will the drug company still use her now that she's had such bad publicity, so bad that her own, long-time publicist quit on her because of how Paula handled it? Stay tuned! I still like her though, she just made a questionable choice.

What great news! I am very happy for you. I love his name and also his sisters' names. With a last name like Jelley, they could have gone crazy naming the kids. Glad they resisted that temptation.

When the first little girl was born, "Apple" was suggested by numerous people and I'm glad they resisted THAT! I really don't think the people were serious, though.. Trying to remember the celebrity/actress who named her daughter, Apple. Gwyneth Paltrow, maybe?

Oh, and I'm sorry I don't know how to do pictures.

It was Gwyneth Paltrow that named her daughter Apple and Gwyneth's mother's name is Blythe. Blythe Danner.
