My Mom's operation went well.She will be in ICU for 2 days and will be in the hospital for aprox. 8 more.Im sure she will fill in the details in just a few days.Thanks to all for your prayers and concerns.

A thumbdrive. Or a digital camera memory drive/adapter/card. I dont know mac, but they certainly can be networked and looks quite easily from what I see. But then again, I dont have a mac to fiddle with. Set up wifi as Ad Hoc and enable sharing on the folder then the mac can access the server, looks like about.. smb://192.168.0.1/Dir and then hopefully it asks for your pc login/password ~~ quick search info.. http://www.mix-networks.com/tech-article-adhoc.php http://joelshoemaker.com/computer/mac/wxpfs.html

oh you mean the entire computer, that is usually called the cpu or the pc tower. in side the tower are many things one of which would be your hard drive which would contain your files and information including your My Documents folder. If it was working for you, you should be able to just plug in your monitor, keyboard and mouse and plug it in to the wall socket and boot it up, once booted then you should be able to go to your my documents area and copy what ever files you want to either a cd or dvd that you can burn if that pc has a burner or you can put in a little usb thumb drive and put them on there.

Chicken Riggies, they're on just about every Italian restaurant menu in my hometown Utica, NY. It's a quick, easy meal. Chicken Riggies 1 stick butter, melted 1 onion minced 3 cloves garlic, minced 20 oz. jar of sweet peppers (sliced with seeds removed) 3 sliced hot cherry peppers (packed in jar with oil) Saute above ingredients. Add: 1 cup parmigiano cheese 2 lbs. boneless chicken breast, cubed 1 can chicken broth 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz) Cook for 1 hour. Pour over 1 1/2 boxes of cooked Rigatoni pasta. It's possible she will come back. It's hard for me to imagine a parent that enables a child to do drugs or run around. I know kids that age will do what they want sometimes, but that doesn't mean the parents should 'allow' it. It's so common for kids to do what she did, going where it's lenient. When she needs 'parenting', she may be back because she probably knows her father isn't being a parent. When she gets herself into trouble because her father lets her run wild, she will go to the responsible one for help. That's probably why she won't come visit you. She probably knows you are not going to allow her to do what she wants. At this point, she is going to be 18 soon and there isn't anything you can do but pray and just be there for her. You don't have to like her behavior, but let her know you love her unconditionally. Don't give up on her and keep the door open by telling her how much you love her and how much you are worried for her. As she gets older/more mature, she may come around. I wish you luck.

Thank you for checking in with us. We tend to worry about our CF family and it's good to know such details.

Give her hugs and lot's of love from us. I know what being in ICU feels like and it's not a piece of cake. I have her listed among our concern list through several organizations that I belong to. It does feel good knowing that so many people are praying for her.

Thanks for the update. I'm adding my relief that the operation went well and that she's on her way to recovering. Hang in there, Craftyrn's daughter, and remember to take care of yourself as well as your mother. It's difficult having a parent in the hospital.
