I've not found any that are especially useful. I have bookmarked some sites with recipes, but I hardly ever use them. I haven't found a single shopping list app that works the way I want it to, so I just write my list in my Memo app. Good luck.

I am a 62 year old widow who had to learn to split wood after my husband died 16 years ago. He'd always done it; I'd never picked up the maul, but I'd gone with him to down and buck up trees (he was a professional forester) and knew a lot about heating with wood and wood cutting/storing/stacking theory from watching him. After he died, I replaced his McCullough chainsaw that I couldn't start with an easier to manage Stihl. I had to order firewood, but one time I was able to salvage a downed huge fir tree near my home that had been bucked up by the utility company to move it off the road where it had fallen. I tried and tried to split it, but couldn't make a dent. I had some wood delivered shortly after and explained my dilemma to the wood guy. He took the time to show me how to split it: making sure it was right side up, looking for the natural cracks and hitting it on the edge of the rounds on one of those cracks; splitting it when it was green and full of moisture (not true for every species). I had to have the maul handle replace with fiberglass from all the bad hits, but I slowly figured out how to do it and now split all my own wood with a maul and sometimes a wedge and have for the last 16 years. Don't need no stinkin' wood splitter. :-D (I heat almost exclusively with wood and harvest trees sometimes from my own property). I figure if I can split firewood, anyone can. Maple is more difficult, but I can still do it...so can you!

Twisties to tie up produce bags are totally unknown here. I wouldn't use them anyway (I cleaned out a drawer a few months ago that was literally an inch deep in unused twisties from packages of freezer bags, accumulated over 15 years!). I tie a slipknot with a loop in my bags so they can easily be opened again and if I haven't a trolley handy I can carry several bags with a finger slipped through the loop. Misbehaving children I have no compunction against telling off. Miss Manners suggests the line, "Don't do that, you might get hurt!", accompanied by the Look that says "And I will be doing the hurting". Works for me :-D Takes a village to raise a child and I am part of the village. My shopping-related pet peeve is our local grocery store (I live in a small town 37 km from the nearest other town) that either orders ridiculously small amounts of perishables, so they run out two days before the next delivery, or so much that you can't buy anything except what's right on the expiry date because they're not going to put fresher stuff out until all the old stuff is gone. And you can't buy the good brand of icecream in vanilla- lots of other flavours, but choc-mint doesn't go so well with apple cobbler :-P Why doesn't the person who orders consider that??? No one wants to eat a whole bowl of icecream in winter! (This is Australia, in case you hadn't guessed :-) .)

I've had several Rowentas in the last few years... They all leak and spit after a short period of time... I even tried the steam generator and hated it.... I had to wait for it to cool before I could refill it and had no way of knowing how full I was filling it until water spilled out of it. I also didn't know when out was running low until I was out of water. The final straw was when the steam got stuck on... The trigger broke and I marched that sucker back to Bed Bath and Beyond for a full refund. Then I bought an Oliso from Joanns for 125. It has little legs that come out when you release the handle so you can leave the iron horizontal at all times... A feature you can't fully appreciate until you've tried it for yourself. It heats fast, produces plenty of steam, and has the control dial right at the top where it belongs. It is also easy to fill with a large, side mounted fill hole. The only one at Target that is the least bit intriguing is the Sunbeam Convertible iron... The handle can be removed from the base and converted to a hand held steamer. I don't have any real world experience with it though. A long cord is a great feature to have. Another is an easy to fill and monitor tank and easily accessible temperature dial. Most people also prefer an iron with a bit of weight. What I have learned is that an expensive iron doesn't necessarily mean a good one. Of course if money were no object, I would have a Laurastar. Another good feature that comes on almost all irons is an auto off ... I have 4 irons (2 Rowentas, one GE with a super long cord and the Oliso) because I kept the old ones in case I ever needed a back up... I switch back and forth out of boredom sometimes but they all have auto off and I can't count the number off times I've been thankful for that feature. Unfortunately, you won't know if you've got a spitter until you've spent some quality time with it. Good luck! Stay away from Shark/Europro... Their products are awful quality and Target peddles them in abundance!
