pmacbee, sometimes (well darn it-most of the time)in new construction it is all the contractor can do is to keep other subs from coming in at the last minute to do their job and the GC leaving notes or reiterating to the subs to "Please Be Careful Of Newly Painted Walls". Especially when something other than a flat is used. Usually the painting is all done and here comes the cabinet finishers, carpet people, wood, etc. and 9 1/2 times out of 10 there will be little boo-boos made on the wall and touch-ups will need to be made . Not to mention NO ONE can seem to keep their darn hands off of the walls. Just make sure if any of this happens that in the aftermath your eggshell walls can be touched up without obviously seeing a difference. Might want to cover this with your GC. I have seen a few times when new construction painting is left off until the very last thing (walls trim that is). Ceilings would have already been done. In this case lots of things would need to be taken in consideration also; meaning everything would need to be covered in order to prevent paint accidents and takes up more time-labor . This is not the norm though because painting will take place right before end construction is complete. Just wanted you to be aware of any touch ups using other sheens rather than flats.

I feed Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Rice to 8 of our 11 dogs. They are all different breeds and mixes and range in age from 2 to about 10. Our senior German shepherd has a very touchy tummy and this is the one dog food that doesn't make him sick. I hate feeding any commercial food but can't figure out a way to feed a crew as big as ours any other way. Nutro changed hands not long ago and I don't know if this is a problem. I would think right now with the poisonings that any dog food company that wants to be thought of as being "good" would be very very careful. I noticed that one dog who got sick on it when to Nutro weight control and that contains corn. Her dog may be sensitive to corn and that caused the upset. I will keep a close eye on mine but as of today they are all fine. The ones who don't eat Nutro are my senior Shih tzus and their pup who decided a while back not to eat it and wanted something better. At the moment they are eating Prarie organic fish but that seems to be on its way out. Thanks Katyroadpink for the update. I guess we had all hoped that this nightmare was calming down. I feed only very high quality (and expensive) food to my three children with fur. I always look a the dollar amount when purchasing it, sometimes thinking that my dogs eat better than some people in developing countries do. Yes, I also cook for them, I enjoy it! I have had some peace of mind knowing that none of what I am feeding as even come close to being an issue. I hope the dog god keeps it that way! Thanks again, SG

Annie, '365' is WholeFoods store brand. I'm guessing if you are loyalty to a specific store, you might grab their brand over others on the shelf...often a bit cheaper than others on the same shelf. WholeFoods is in a hot mess. (or maybe not). A bit late to the party in competing with others. Don't get me wrong as I was hoping the 365 would succeed. We have room for smaller stores with a fresh whole food approach. In and out quickly with just a bag or two. A well stocked pantry and freezer just needs some weekly 'fresh'. And open bins. For example I may want asparagus super fresh but just for one meal, not an entire bunch for 6-8. Trying to add it to meals all week...the rest composted. I don't shop WholeFood but 2-3 times a year when I'm in a hotel or one is right in front of my face in the city. The BryantPark one is nuts...the one in Conn is fantastic. One on longIsland NY is odd and cluttered. Tight isles and packed. High income area so a bit surprised the tiny location. Alway no mater what I get sticker shock every time. My local NY institution Fairway I say every checkout, "wow, all this for that!" $ , so cheap. My parents tiny town FoodLion has just as good fresh produce than any WholeFoods in my area. You are not missing anything Annie. TJ's is fun and full of surprises. A much better experience.
