I've never heard of any of those men, but I google imaged them and Matt Bomer is the best looking by far, not even close. Channing has a dumb jock look, Matt M. has a dissolute drunk look - like, that body and that face/hair are the marriage of unholy underground head-body transplantation experiments - and the other guy, I don't have an memory of him just 25 seconds after viewing his images. Or of his name. But Matt B. is a great-looking man.

John, you've never heard of Matt M?? He's quite well known and the most well known of the group.
I'll watch it some Saturday afternoon five years from now on dvr so I can fast forward through everything that I don't want to watch.
It seems to be in the same vein as Tropic Thunder.

But what about the furniture design? I'll be watching it for the furniture design.

He has graciously attended and hosted our fundraising event for the last two years. The women ADORE him, in fact, they even paid for the privilege of having their photos taken with him! A truly nice guy, Joe stars as Alcide Herveux on "True Blood" on HBO. I'm not into vampires, but I'll probably watch Magic Mike, for the...talent! LOL

The only one I've ever heard of is Matt M, so I'm pretty close to clueless.

They all are relatively forgettable to me, I tend to like men very clean shaven and not prettier than I am, thanks. And Matt M has horrible hair, but at least he's not really pretty.

I didn't get the cougar gene. None of these men appeal to me. I think they are pretty like art is pretty. I am attracted to men in my age range - old(er).

Oh, alright, you girls. Go watch it for the furniture design and the choreography. Oh, and the snappy dislogue. After all, that's why I went to see "Burlesque".

During which I realized that Christina Aguilera has a monster of a voice, I mean, she has terrific lungs. Seriously.

Daughter and I then went and listened to a bunch of her albums. Problem is, her material hasn't been the best. But when she's got a good song, the girl can huff and puff and blow your house down.

Cher looked amazing too. We were watching the movie on Netflix the other night with our Southern gay friends who make killer martinis and mock every movie - "honey, that woman is a hunnert yeahs old" - but even they sat up and listened to "Haven't Seen The Last Of Me".

There is a great chance I will never see this. My idea of a movie includes popcorn with butter and a huge theater screen. I never watch movies at home, mine or anyone else's.

I always thought Channing Tatum was a girl. I never saw him, just read the name and it sounds like a girl's name. I think Matthew M is good-looking. My mom sat right behind him at a basketball game one time. I never heard the other names.

I've never heard of Channing Tatum. I'm a big fan of Bomer - I really enjoy him in White Collar, on USA. Also, he looks a bit like my son.

I've always enjoyed Matthew McConaughey's movies, but I saw him on Oprah once, or was it Barbara Walters, and he came across like an idiot. I saw him again in an interview, and he came across much better. Maybe he was having a bad day during the first interview I saw.

Whenever my wife complains that I stink and need a shower, I tell her "I'm doing the Matthew McConaughey." A while back she read and interview where he said he doesn't wear deodorant because a man should smell like a man (or words to that effect.)

LMAO at that one, John, and I totally agree! Good actor though, IMO. Ladies - I think the other day one of the Yahoo or MSN headlines said he bares it all at the end of the movie.

Colleen, Matthew McConaughey has lived in Australia (NSW), and I think Joe truly has a good personality, which is one of the reasons I like him. He has done some very good charity work, but I don't know whether he can act. I got the impression that he was not that popular with women from the EW article, although it appears from IMDB that he actually does have a lot of female followers.

Of the four actors, I've only ever seen Matthew McConaughey in anything, and I think he's made some pretty bad movies. I also do not like his face. Matt Bomer definitely has the prettiest face - so much so that he almost looks like a girl - in a Tony Curtis sort of way.

Anyway, this movie plot reminds me more of Full Monty more than anything else, and I thought that was a good, funny movie. It's getting quite a buzz on IMDB even though it has not yet been released.

Eileen has obviously watched more previews than I have and was already aware of the Channing Tatum as furniture designer subplot, and so I guess I will also have to see it for the furniture design. He also makes the furniture that he designs in the movie, and so that will be interesting to me.

Nope, I haven't seen it and I doubt that I will. The last movie I saw at the theater was "Mirror, Mirror" because I took Makayla. I think maybe not this one, LOL. The one before that was Lord of the Rings!

And I don't have television, so I probably won't see it there either. The problem is that, by the time it's on DVD or something and I can see it, everyone has already told me about it. (grin)

I haven't seen the furniture yet, but I did see some interesting furniture in Prometheus, although I can't remember it now because it went by so fast. I get a lot of inspiration from movies set in the mid 1930s - they had some really good sets - and also the early 50s. Sometimes I'll find some good mid-century design in movies as late as the 1960s. After that, not so much, but I have high hopes for this movie. I liked Bette Midler's furniture in Desperate People, since most of it was Italian Memphis style with some American versions of the Italian originals. Italian movies often have good sets.

I think I will wait for this one to come out on DVD, as Kevin and I are scared of the crowds that might show up to see this in theaters. When I first moved to L.A., I lived in an apartment in Culver City across the street from what was originally MGM studios, and I could see the MGM lion from my kitchen window. I was hoping to get into set design back then, but I think I'm happier now with furniture. I think I am allowed more creativity in what I do now, since the movie director has a big say in set design. My furniture can still end up in movie or TV sets.
