Have any of you read Kathleen Flinn's books?

The Sharper Your Knife, the Less You Cry: Love, Laughter, and Tears in Paris at the World's Most Famous Cooking School
and

The Kitchen Counter Cooking School: How a Few Simple Lessons Transformed Nine Culinary Novices into Fearless Home Cooks

I read her first book a year ago and loved it! Read the whole book in one night. Started the second book yesterday and love it even more! Have almost finished it as well.

If you haven't, her books are a fabulous read and great inspiration!

She talks about her life, first in culinary school, then as a cooking teacher, and they are both funny, realistic, full of useful information and recipes.

If you haven't read them, you really should. They will make you think, they will inspire you, and they will motivate you to cook "real food".

If you have read them, what were your thoughts?
Did they excite you as much as they did me?
