They are nice kids but none of them wow me, as opposed to all the other years when I had a few favorites and would look forward to seeing their performances.

Last night, I was surprised the judges did not bring up the fact that Crystal kept looking down at her guitar strings and moving away from the mike,
that was annoying.

I tape the show now and watch some of it in fast forward ; I long for contestants like Fantasia, belting out songs with a lot of soul.

I'm watching.

I was telling hubs last night that Ellen doesn't look comfortable. She just looks out of place somehow. I love her, don't get me wrong, and I was so happy to hear that she was going to be a judge but I was wondering if she dreads going to work because of not fitting in well enough. It's like Randy is the only one who will hang with her.

Kara is all over Simon this season. What's up with that?

I love Crystal. I think she is a sure thing. The rest are fiarly ho-hum. I also like Andrew Garcia and Lee Dewyze, but Simon does NOT like Andrew at all. I just hated that we voted off most of the ethnics. I would like to see Andrew stay for awhile. But Crystal is by far the best.

I think Kara is just playing the Paula role...Simon has to have someone play up to him and that role doesn't fit Ellen,,,,LOL.

It has been boring but I am getting a little interested now. I always enjoy seeing how they come along as the show progresses.

I think Ellen is a hoot. I am just so glad to be rid of Paula who did nothing but repeat what Randy said while jumping up and down and doing her weird "seal clap".

I agree. I like Crystal. I've been a fan of Janis Joplin since when she was alive and performing , and Crystal reminds me of her in a way.

I started watching a few weeks ago.

Crystal is great. If she played at a bar in my town I'd definitely go see her. But somehow I'm having a hard time seeing her as much more than that. I hope she changes my mind.

Goldilocks is another who I'd see at a local bar.

I was really into Siobhan but lately I don't know anymore. Last night I had to fast forward through her performance. Yawwwwn.

I'm hoping the big guy gets his groove back. I like his voice and personality.

Tonight I predict Garcia, smiley guy and boring guy in the bottom three. Boring guy will hang in there because he had a good night. I wish I had seen the Garcia performance that got him into the competition because I've not seen one thing out of him that I'd consider even "ok."

Who'd I miss? Oh yeah, the little boy and the CT girl. Whatever, nice kids.

What's with these mentors? Miley was the worst; Adam pretty much makes me sick but I suppose he does have talent.

Ellen's much better than I thought she would be. Randy and Kara, yawn. As usual I agree with Simon 95% of the time. But it drives me nuts when he tells that CT girl to sing country. To me you should sing what's in your heart, not what some producer thinks you'd be good at.

Yeah, it's a pretty unexciting season.

I'm going with my daughter tomorrow night to see Adam Lambert in Concert, and I can't wait !!! We will be sitting in row #3. I just love his voice, and I too think he should have won last year!!! With that said, I think Crystal should win this year, as she has the most natural born talent. I think she is a natural. Diana55

I'm sort of half-watching so I'm not sure of most of the names. I love Cyrstal's voice and style. I think Miley Cyrus is a waste of skin anyway, so that episode did nothing for me. She was so horrible in the We are the World 25 and that other group song done for cancer that I don't think she should be giving out singing advice to anyone.

I'll watch the show with Adam Lambert. He's been where they are right now, so he may have some interesting advice.

I really like Ellen. She seems to be trying to just be herself instead of playing a part like Kara does. Randy Jackson, however, drives me up a wall. He's probably a very intelligent man who could have some good pointers and feedback, but all that continuous barrage of, "Yo! Yo, listen. Yo!' is so offputting I can't listen to him.

Crystal is by far the best. The only winner in the group. A natural.

I also like Siobhan. As for the guys, they vary week to week in their performances. I love the rasp in Lee's voice and I also like Casey. I'm tired of Mike. Good but predictable. And I can't help but like Tim Urban. Retro.

I'd buy Crystal's album in a heartbeat. I hope she wins.

I also like Lee's voice as well, and hope he keeps picking good songs. I'm glad to see his confidence is rising. Is he Scottish? He seems to have embraced the tartain and bagpipes, and he looks like a Scott. I was surprised to see the guy with the pipes walking down the steps during his song, but have to admit it gave me a huge grin.

Siobhan is a kick. I like her personal style, but sadly, her performance is lacking the last couple of weeks.

Casey is very cute, and I liked his song choice this week (it's a favorite). Sometimes I find his voice just a little weird; other times not at all.

Katie's a good singer, especially for someone so young.

I think there were a handful of people that should have left before Mike, but nonetheless I feel it was somewhat of a waste of a save.

I agree FOAS , there are a couple more that should have gone first. But, personally I wouldn't have saved Mike. I think that they had their minds made up before he had even performed.

I agree that this season is kind of boring.

I miss Paula...LOL I think her and Ellen would have had a blast together. She sure would have given Ellen some good material to work with to liven up on the judges panel. I don't care for Kara at all...her antics with Simon are worse then Paula IMHO.

My favorites are Crystal, Casey, and Lee....in that order.

I think they should have let Mike go last night. Someone at the office mentioned he was disqualified early this year when his Dad let the local news he made it to final 24. If this is true I wonder how/why he made the show.

I didn't get Miley being a mentor at all. I thought Usher did well. I guess they are running out of good ones to come on the show. Lambert should be interesting next week but if they are going to have past contestants on I would think they would have Underwood and Clarkston. Those two are the top selling artist the show has produced so far.

I'll watch if I'm not on the road but I sure hope to see some kind of WOW factor in the remaining shows.

David, I hope Adam teaches them how to WOW! Adam will be a great mentor, kind but honest.

I agree with your top three, in that order. I just hope Crystal doesn't crack with all the pressure, she seems a little intimidated.

The "ADAM LAMBERT" Concert last night was Fabulous !!! What a fantastic singer he is, and can he dance !!! We loved it !!! It was very entertaining, but we couldn't believe how many older people were there. I thought the crowd would be young, but they were mostly older. Great show !!! A must see !!! Diana55
