It seems as if blooded behinds are fairly common? This is my first year raising turkey. I lost one because he jumped out of the pen and froze during the night. All of a sudden they started pecking at 2 of the other birds pulling out their tail feathers. One died from the shock, the other I rescued, Now in my lounge under a heat lamp all by it;s self. Will I be able to put it back do you think? or shall I just go and buy another turkey from the store and keep the 2 together?

redsox, I had to laugh, I just did the same thing trying to find out if I'm 6 a or b and all the maps were so small I couldn't read any of them. Really someone has to make one of these for people who don't have 20/20 vision. When I put my zip in the second link it said I was 5b and I know that's not right. I'm smack dab in the middle of that zone 6 chip on the southeastern side of MI. Besides I grow a lot of things that would not survive in zone 5 winters. I like Zack's idea. I do know that the back wall of my house is always way warmer than any other place in the yard.

I was fortunate to view the interesting plant Dipteronia sinensis at Quarryhill Arboretum at Sonoma, CA this past spring. With only a casual glance one would think it was a negundo or henryi. Quarryhill Botanical Garden is a non-profit botanical garden dedicated to advancing the conservation, study, and cultivation of the temperate Flora of Asia. It is a very interesting place to visit. Their collection is at the most only 15 years old, so plants are very young. It will be a spectacular place to visit in 15 years! Dishwashers can leak from basically everywhere. A leak from the door is usually easily detected because there will be water right underneath the door. If you have "build up" - clean it. The seal pulls right off, easy as 1-2-3, and can be soaked and scrubbed in the sink. If you are generally concerned about a leaking dishwasher, get a Bosch or a Miele. These have a fully enclosed base that catches any drips and alert the user immediately. I don't get why no American manufacturer, besides some TOL GEs, offers this - it's a standard feature on European washers and dishwashers. Alex
