Recurring dreams, bad and good dreams
Comments (20)It's really interesting to find out that some of the recurring dreams I have are common. I repeatedly have a dream where I can't get out of the house to go somewhere I want to go. It's not that the doors are locked, but that I can't find my keys, or the phone rings, or somebody is doing something that stops me. My mother is always in that dream! LOL. Just last night I dreamed that I lost a tooth. Glad to find it was still attached in the morning. I only had the one about not being prepared for a test one time and for some reason, Tom Cruise was in that dream. Was he in a scene like that in a movie? When my job was eliminated I had dreams about it for months. I dreamed that I went to work and everyone around me was wondering if I knew I no longer had a job and what was I doing there. No one had the courage to tell me. Another time I dreamed that I volunteered to work there (ha!)and another time I dreamed that I went to work to babysit for the president's grandchild. Thank goodness those dreams have stopped. I've also dreamed that I could run really really fast (picture a cartoon character) and I ran so fast I could fly. I liked that one....See Morebad dreams anyone?
Comments (9)Too funny - I bet you were mighty relieved to wake up from that dream! I haven't had any nightmares because I haven't been able to sleep. A few nights ago I was so worried about my choices that I posted pics here of them, and the general lack of response seemed to confirm that my kitchen may turn out to be one of those in which the proper response may be, "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all". So last night after 2 sleepless nights of worry and tears and freaking out, I finally had exhausted myself so much I could do nothing but lay it down in surrender and trust my instincts and those who've told me it's going to be great, including the decorator/designer who picked several of the elements (which I adore) and whose taste I trust implicitely. Needless to say I slept a dreamless sleep - a whopping 6 hours - and it was good :-). And I feel better now. It's a little crazy how renovating a kitchen can so take over your life, even in the night time hours!...See MoreHaving bad dreams about a friend from long ago
Comments (16)Reason Season Lifetime People always come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do. When someone is in your life for a REASON, It is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, Or to provide you with guidance and support, To aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually. They may seem like a godsend to you, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, This person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they just walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on. When people come into your life for a SEASON, It is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season. And like Spring turns to Summer and Summer to Fall, The season eventually ends. LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; Those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person anyway; And put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas in your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. Thank you for being part of my life, Whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime. Comments (8)No doubt in my mind. The one I have came from, well, not the best home and she was traumatized. She'd wake up screaming and meow like crazy and I'd call her and she'd come to me. Just last night she woke up meowing and got up, meowed like she was calling and I called her, said everything's OK and she sat down for a minute then as usual came and hopped into my lap. And whether it's related or not, IDK but she spends a lot more time in my lap snoozing lately. My other cat would be sound asleep and start twitching and paws going like crazy. I recorded some of it one time. I don't think his were really nightmares but it was kind of funny. Thought about posting it on Youtube or something. I'm sure they have bad dreams and good dreams....See MoreLars
