Option #1 Learn to use the ADDRESS BOOK in your mail program & don't tell me you don't have one because you do.

Option #2 Save at least one email from each person you'll want to contact. Then you'll be able to open the email...hit REPLY and you won't have to do anything except maybe change the SUBJECT line to something new.

Option #3 Create a Word document with all the names/addresses and SAVE IT to your desktop and you'll be able to add or delete entries as needed.

Some (most?) email clients (both webmail and desktop versions) tend to have an easy way to add an address to a contact list. Sometimes you can simply go to the message list (your inbox or saved message folder) and hover over the sender's name and right-click and you'll be given an option to add him/her to the contacts.

Or you might have to open the message. Then looking at the sending information above the message text, hover over the sender's name/address and right-click and you may find the 'add to addressbook' option at that point.

Depending on what program you use, there will undoubtedly be something like the above to help you quickly add the address to a contact list/address book. :-)

I have always used an address book in what ever mail program I am using. How did you store email addresses before you got windows 8? Mary

If you don't like windows 8.1 download and install classic shell.

Unless I have been missing it for the last 13 months W8/8.1 does not include an e-mail client. The Mail tile only activates the e-mail address the user provided, if so doing, when initially configuring the system.

I am not quite sure the question is to mount them in the e-mail To: line or to store them in the addressbook.

I use Thunderbird, and both concerns are easily remedied.
