Absolutely do not open any e-mail from an unknown source. I would even like to take it a step farther and suggest never open a forward even if you "know" the sender. Forwards have always been a classic way of sharing viruses be they generated from a user's compromised Addressbook or generated in the wild. If there is a need to accept forwards from certain individuals ask them to delete the fwd from the subject line before doing so. By doing this it will show you that the e-mail is intended and valid. If you are using OE or Windows Mail turn off the preview pane. This suggestion has been recommended for years now as critters began being delivered in the code of the e-mail and jpg pictures long ago. DA

Just browsing around tonight and noticed there were computer forums here. I use AOL thought I would tell you it can be done as I have tried this and it works fine. Read the link I posted and it will tell you what program to download. It's for gmail but when you install it you will have the option to pick AOL from the list. and that's it. Then when you are online and click somewhere to email a site it will bring up a filled in AOL mail form from aol.com. I am guessing though you have to make sure you leave aol.com logged in all the time and do not sign out. I was helping someone once make yahoo.com the default mail in firefox by using the malto code or what ever it is and stumbled upon this so thought I would try it and file it away for reference in case someone needed to know that. Boy, Leslie. I agree with those people on Photobucket's forum. Comparing the email's wording with what is actually happening makes the email very confusing and chastising. In case you haven't had a chance to read it yet, they're saying if you use the links that are provided by Photobucket (the ones under your pictures), your pics will be okay. However, if you have something posted on the web from several years (doesn't say how long ago), then they are old links and might not work because they were hosted by Photobucket's old servers they no longer use. Or.....if someone sees your pictures on the web and right clicks on them to get the URL and post elsewhere (bandwidth theft), then those pics will not show up as of March 24th because they were improperly linked. So no, you don't have to modify anything in your account. Only those links (to the actual posted pictures) that were posted many years ago and those that were posted using the picture's URL (by right clicking) will have to be corrected. If you posted anything like that on a forum like this one, where you cannot edit your posts, then those pics will cease to show and an error message (not a red x) will replace them.
