First, thank you to all of you for going thru this decision process with me. Thank you Zitro Joe and Alisande. I read Ken's website and checked out the Best Buy pixel comparison. Good information. I have looked at many comparison photos and info on the internet and I do like the extra pixels for viewing and zooming in on the computer monitor. However, I just need to get closer to my subject when I want that kind of detail. I am now deciding between the Nikon D5000 with two kit lenses (18-55 mm + 55-200mm) and the Nikon 90 with one kit lens (17-105 mm). I am told the 17-105mm has better optics. I really like the grip and feel of the D90. I fits in my hand better and feels more balanced. My only problem is the extra weight. I am wonder how important the weight is for any of you. The D90 with the lens on is 10 oz heavier than the D5000 with the 18-55 mm lens, and 8 oz heavier than the D5000 with the 55-200 lens. I am not planning to take it on long trips just short outings. I have some aches and pains in my neck and shoulders, but there is a hand strap available (that I would use with either camera) instead of a neck strap. The other things I like about the D90 besides the grip and feel are: Better viewfinder Larger monitor Depth of field preview Stronger build Better optics in the lens A little better in low light? One nicer kit lenses What I like about the D5000: Lighter weight Built-in protection for the LCD screen because it flips around There is no question that I would choose the D90 over the D5000. I am just concerned about the weight of the camera. The salesman points out that if it is too heavy I will be less inclined to take it with me. Is this true of any of you? Does the weight cause you to leave it behind? Thank you again.

I am new to posting replies but I have been reading the kitchen forum for a while now. We remodeled our 1948 kitchen 6 months ago. I found the advice on this forum priceless. I have Black Galaxey with predominantly siver sparkles. I have had it for about six months and I love it! It hides almost all of the dirt and it is very easy to care for. It rarely needs polishing, I just like to I polish it when company is coming and this is very easy to do. It only takes a few miutes. The granite fabricator told me I did not need a sealer with this granite. I was told the only thing that would probably stain it was if I carved a large holiday turkey on it and left the carcas on it while my extended family ate dinner. (They had a customer do this). Since I haven't done this, the counter top is still looking brand new. I clean it with soap and water and I use a granite polish from Fuller Brush.

I have an Old Acer Android Tablet (Acer Iconia A500 w/Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich), but it does show up as my Tablet (A500) in Windows 10. I can then access my photos and all other folders and files on the tablet. My Phone is a Windows Phone with Windows 8.1. I have no problems whatsoever connecting with the phone either! I have Windows 10 on my Desktop Computer, 2 Laptops and my Acer Iconia W4-820-2882 Tablet. All my Appointments, Photos, Documents, etc... are shared between them without lifting a finger. Just hooked up the Acer Iconia A1-840FHD w/Android 4.1.2 Kit Kat I purchased for my Grandson for Christmas. I shows up in File Explorer> This PC in Windows 10 just as my phone and all my Tablets do! Yes, I can Access Photos, Files, etc... from this Acer Iconia A1-820FHD Tablet using my Windows 10 Laptop while hooked up with a USB.
