Can't open emails in Outlook

All of a sudden I can't open my emails on Outlook 2003. Outlook itself opens fine. I can send mail. But when I click on an email to open I get a pop-up message asking me if I want to send an error report to Microsoft. I get no error message from Outlook itself that might give me a clue about what is wrong.

I'm worried because I advertised something on Craig's List and was corresponding with a couple of people who turned out to be scammers. Ever since then, I can't open the emails. I have run scans with AVG and Malwarebytes with no problems found. Oh, and if I switch the preview pane to "ON", I can see the emails then. Any ideas about what is up?

Try running the repair feature. It's under Tools or Help (I don't have access to Outlook right now). You'll need the original disc to run it.

If you haven't, check for any updates too.
