Wow, you guys who put regular kitchen sink in for laundry tubs are crazy if you ask me. If you really wanted something nice to put there then you should have gotten a resturant style stainless steel sink. Deep is the way to go and never have the washing machine dump it's water into the sink. Get a standing drain line for that so you can soak things in the sink without the water from the washing machine getting all over the place. (always make sure it's 2" pipe as well, anything smaller will back up) Hey, they aren't cheap but if you want it to look nice then go with one of these. Of course I would stick with the plastic laundry tub myself. Let me put it in simple terms. All digital devices: Computers, copy/printing/scanner machines, microwaves, digital cameras, etc., have memory storage components to store data. In instances where the data are not personal, there's no harm, such as in the microwave. But in instances that stores personal information such as in the computers, digital cameras, cellular phones, etc., we need to be careful in how we dispose these computerized machines. Remember, even if we delete the data, it is still there. It doesn't disappear. It's just meant that the particular portion of the memory is allowed new data to override over it. Only then, the deleted data would be gone from the storage unit.

Do you know how energy efficient your current house is? If you are not sure, it would be good to find out some facts such as R-value of walls, ceiling, attic; type of windows, doors and window coverings; efficiency of appliances, heating cooling systems; house orientation ( facing east west, or north south), construction and landscapes...etc. All of these make differences when estimate energy consumption in addition to your family's energy spending habits, such as room temperature kept in winter and summer..etc. and size of your house. Once you understand energy efficiency level/facts of your current house, find out those of the potential new house, and use you current house as a baseline to compare and compute percentage of utilities increase in the new house.... Good Luck on this. Several years ago I found that the State of California was holding several hundred dollars for me apparently from an old brokerage account that dated back to the 1960ties-early 1970ties when I was still single & lived at the apartment house address shown for me. I sent them all kinds of photos of documents, including a copy of our marriage certificate changing my name & an old passport from 1967. I thought all would be sufficient, but no. I got very angry on the phone, telling them that I thought what I had supplied them already was sufficient for something going back almost 40 years, & I'd like my money. She said she'd "talk to her supervisor", and a few weeks later I received the check in the mail. One thing I did have that I never sent was a stamped envelope from 1966, inviting me to a friend's wedding shower, which plainly showed my "maiden name" & the correct address from 40 years ago. I felt I had jumped through enough hoops by that time. Currently I have about $4.00 being held by the unclaimed property division of the State of California, but it's hardly worth my trouble to apply for it considering the foregoing experience.
