What I do is build my poster on the computer to fit an eleven by seventeen piece of paper. Then I convert it to a PDF file and save it, (always open it in Adobe Acrobat to double check the look and colors and save it again) I move the file onto a flash card or burn it onto a cd. I take the cd or flash card to Kinko's (copy store - should be everywhere) where they have work station computers and printers for you to use. Where I go they rent the computers by the hour but you pay by the minute with a credit card. Before I do anything I make sure the color printers are avaiable and loaded with the right paper and that no one else is gonna be printing anytime soon - THEN I start up the computer, insert my credit card and open up my pdf file of the poster. I send it to the printer. Once it confirms the charge to print and begins the upload I close down my workstation and go wait at the printer for the poster. The reason I do all this is to keep the number of minutes that I use their machine to a minimum - they are charging my card by the minute. I can often get my 11 by 17 print for a few dollars that way. They have printers capable of printing larger but these are not self service so you will have to pay and the last time I used them it cost about the same as what you were quoted.

LOL 2001 - the snow is wishful thinking! 2002 - My 2 youngest sons on their horses and Jammer and I on the bike. I'm already thinking about next year's card. Our town is so small that I'm really limited to themes. I'm thinking about using a picture of the church. It's been there since I was an infant and the steeple is visible from all over town. I don't think I'll have Santa driving his sleigh over the steeple, though! LOL Maybe an angel would be more apprppriate. I've also thought about the old theater that we all used to go to. It's no longer there, but I do know there is a photo somewhere of the big sign that hung outside. Lia, I'd love to help you with your card next year! But no printing!!! Oh BTW...I've ordered a new printer and computer. should be here next week!

I'm always hesitant to download FF add-ons because I've had some cause browsing issues at certain websites. I'm curious about Stylish though, I've seen that you can change to some predetermined style that someone has created and I'm not interested in doing that with my page. All I want to do is change the font to something more pleasing to the eye and change the background color to tone it down a bit. Can I do that with Stylish? I've looked at a few videos and all I see is some format choices that I really don't want to use. Could someone tell me how to use Stylish to make my own choices of fonts and background colors?

Jane, If you go to the White Windows Icon in the Taskbar (Lower Left Corner) and Right Click, you'll get a list, Device Manager will be in that List (Control Panel will also be in this list). You could also just Left Click on the White Windows Icon and click in a Blank Space then just start typing Device Manager and a List should pop up with Device manager towards the top of the list You can also get to Control Panel using this method)! Device Manager can also be found by going into Control Panel and the Device Manager Icon will be there in Alphabetic Order. The Printer Information will be Listed in Control Panel in the Devices and Printers Icon! It doesn't show up in the This PC Area any longer! In the Lower Right corner you'll find the information Center Icon. This Icon will be all White if there is information to view. The printer information may have been listed under the Information Icon. You only need to Click on the Icon to View the available Information. Below is a Picture showing the Information Icon (circled in red).
