Do I need all of these listed programs

I have the following Java programs loaded; do I need to keep all of them:
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11
Java (TM) 6 Update 17
Java (TM) 6 Update 7
Java (TM) SE Runtime 6 Update 1 |

| no in fact having them is putting your pc in danger, you want only the very latest version of Java once you have that one you need to go to add remove programs and remove all earlier versions. |

How about Microsoft .Net Framework ?

| if you already have them on your computer leave them, some things are not backward compatible in the .net framework so I believe you are supposed to leave the older versions also, you will continue to get patches and updates for all the versions you have |

| Strongly recommend you visit annoyances.org for the removal of framework.net Hazardous to your pc. For the best uninstalls, download REVO uninstaller. Very intuitive and it cleans completely. Superior to MS add/remove. |
