Heck, if I didn't have bad memory, I'd have no memory at all. But this did make me recall one time back in the late 1970's I agreed to help a friend cut down some trees for firewood. This was on some property that was in the negotiation phase of being sold for expansion of an airport, so he had but a few weeks left to get the trees down and cut up. We went to the property to survey the situation and there were 2 big tall Red Oaks in the stand where he had permission to cut. He said I could have whichever one I wanted to cut and haul after he felled them. We decided to come back the next morning and begin. We met at the gated entrance and then drove our trucks to the site. We parked out of falling range of the first tree and unloaded our equipment. First, he pulled a fairly small Homelite saw out (14" bar maybe) and set it on the ground. At that time I had a Craftsman with an 18" bar. One of the 2 big Oak trees was about 30" to 32" diameter and I remarked that I thought he had told me he was going to bring a "big saw". Then he laughed and pulled an ancient looking McCulloch saw from the bed of his truck. It was like he just kept on pulling that saw out of the bed. Big ole heavy saw with about a 42" bar. He said "Is this big enough?" He said the saw belonged to his older brother. I picked it up and I guess it weighed about 45 pounds. I said "If you'll just crank that thing up and set it beside the tree, I believe the tree will lie down on the ground for you." The other saw he brought was just for "limbing" the felled tree.

First off, I think you must ask dealer what upgrades you need to make to your attic where dealer will guarantee against freeze ups. That's if you are serious about placing a high eff condensing furnace in attic. Then get pricing from an insulation contractor and/or dealer if he provides that type of work. Weigh the cost of the upgrade and decide if it's worth it. I think quote #1 is ridiculously high. Good comprehensive list though for scope of work. Compare to the other quotes for apples to apples. On quote #2, I want R8 insulation up and down. I don't believe you require a 90 KBTU furnace for upstairs area. I would want to see the load calc to support that size. Drop down to 70 K model. I assume Infinity controllers for both systems. How many returns on each floor? I would want two returns on each floor, properly sized and strategically located. Filter cabinets on both systems? I think a 3 ton condenser for upstairs is oversized and would suggest going down to a 2 1/2 ton Sgl stage high eff model. Don't like that condenser on the Trane quote. I would like to see evap coil model numbers. What about filter cabinets? What model thermostats? Is this rental property? Who will remove old radiators and old pipes and make necessary repairs including flooring? These are just some general observations. Personally, I would tell them that you want to return it as it doesn't work right or you hate or just because. We almost bought one and then they were out of the product and it would be in the next day. I changed our mind, found where they sold Speed Queens and drove to another town, an hour and a half away, and I still love it. coming here made me decide to get a speed queen. it is a work horse, lasts 20 years, can be repaired. I even checked local listings to see who repairs them, just in case. I am so tired of going through new products. we have been through a toasters too. got a crummy new one, but just found a website where they sell older American made ones and am thinking of spending the money for one and save it for when. it is under working vintage toasters at toaster central. just in case anyone wants to know.

I have been making these little dresses from regular 45" cotton fabric. There are several ways to accomplish the task and IMO is a matter of preference. All you need to do is google "pillow Case Dress" and you should be directed to several different sites/videos. I prefer elastic through the neck area just in case. If the tie is tied tightly it could present a hazard...not that many items of childrens clothing could not present a hazard on a very active child.
