Help -- Google Redirect virus hit me

UGH ..... I've been lucky to avoid viruses -SO FAR . Today I poked my nose into a website that I probably never should have .... I got "the bug" . When I click on Google search results - I get directed to random pages. I've run

Ad-Aware .... Malwarebytes Anti- Malware ....Spybot Search & destroy ... and CC cleaner. I updated all of them & ran the scans - They found malware & trojans - and supposedly "fixed" them --- however Google is still redirecting me. ( and slowly ) Since I can't do a search for a fix --- do you have one ? I would soooooo appreciate it. I'm an average old lady computer user - I need language in simple terms ~~ LOL

If you have a cure - I can't thank you enough !!

PS -- I was given the sight "Spyware doc" (or something like that ) to fix the problem . It froze up my computer so bad - it wouldn't even turn off ! I had to unplug it !!

I've been trying everything for about ....hhhmmm...let's see now .... about 6 hours. I give up .

Aintnosunshine the first thing you should do is start a new thread rather than find a 6 month old one as this only causes confusion. When you start the new thread please include the computer make and model, all names of firewall, anti virus and anti malware programs you are running and when they were last updated and a full test ran. "Some message pops up" up is useless, write the message down and post that too, it might be the biggest help of all. Help can only be as good as the input provided by the person needing the help. Help us to help you.

Please do not follow any directions on forums if they were not specific for you and your situation, doing so can cause serious problems. Go to the forum zep linked to and start a post of your own and only follow directions given to you specifically. the redirect infections are hard to be rid of and you will need the assistance from that forum.

My aunt and sister recently had this happen, on different computers at different times via different web sites being viewed. Aunt said she was "on Google" and couldn't "get out of it" so she closed the laptop and called me ... but she's not very technical so no way to know what she was actually viewing. I ran Avast and Malwarebytes scans, her laptop was clean. No way she could understand how to open Task Manager and kill the browser if necessary so I told her if anything like that happens again that she "can't get out of" she should press and hold the power button until the laptop shuts off. Sister ran her own scans and I didn't hear anything further so presumably it also came up clean.

I've seen this with other microwaves. If you pull out the plate you should see the plastic "gear" that does the actual turning. You should, with some force, be able to pull that out. Typically it's a "keyed" sprocket that can get rounded out and result in exactly what you're seeing. It's designed to prevent stress on the motor. Now *why* you'd get that on a new oven is a question. Normally that's something I'd expect to see after years of (ab)use.

you need to get assistance for this one at a support forum this is one that is very very hard to get fully rid of with out help running some special scans. Go to this forum and register then post your thread in the area I am linking you to.
