Do you have Adobe reader installed ?

You can find out by looking

Click > Start > click > control panel > click > Programs an features. In the list see if Adobe is listed, they should be at the top of the list and a few Abobe's will be listed, tell me all of them. We are looking for adobe reader [Acrobat], that's the program that is used to open PDF files.

I just wanted to see what else is in the program list. You need a program to read PDF. Files. What one have you been using to read them? Usually Adobe reader or Foxit are used.

Did this problem just start? Have you ever been able to read PDF Files ?

Lets in stall Adobe reader. See link below

First on that webpage
Put your mouse over the check mark on the optional offer. Click to un-check it, you don't need that.

Optional offer:
Yes, install free McAfee Security Scan Plus to check the status of my PC security.

Then click in the lower right yellow Install now, that should download it to the desktop or your downloads folder, then double click it to install Adobe.

Then use my test link I gave before, or simply try an open any PDF File.

I use IE but installed firefox mainly for its PDF viewer capabilities. Fairly easy to associate it to be default pdf viewer or you can drag and drop.
