Watching video

Hello
I would like to know is there a setting that I can change to stop the video from stopping ever few minutes then starting again.
When I play any video from "you tube" it plays, then stops, then plays again and that is the way it goes. It doesn't matter which one I play they all do the same.
Thank you B.

that is the buffer, either your connection speed is slow or your ability to stream the video is slow.
What you can do on some is to allow the buffer to fully fill then click to watch the video. Try putting it on pause and watch the line that shows how much is loaded when it is all the way at the end then hit the play button.

That's probably due to your connection speed. It downloads part of the video and starts playing, but it isn't downloading fast enough to keep ahead of the video, so when it gets to the end of what has finished downloading it stops until more downloads. You can click the pause button and do something else to give the video a chance to finish downloading, then go back to it and watch it once it finishes downloading.

What kind of connection speed do you have? I have a 3MB DSL connection and I occasionally get buffering, too. You can test your speed here...

Here is a link that might be useful: Speedtest
