Yes, and now it is even worse. It was bad enough when the advert on the top of the forums list page would resize itself. I always ended up trying to hit the rose forum link at the top and would instead end up in the bromeliads forum below, where the page would throw me. As of early this morning, the damn top ad resizes on EVERY thread page, which is completely absurd and off putting. I realized this this morning and almost posted my disgust about it but felt I shouldn't really shout about it here on the rose forum. But since you brought it up� :)! I am glad someone did. I hated the resizing ad before, I REALLY hate it now! I almost died when I read the ad on the forum thread pages, which was for a special Earth Day MONTH of specials at target! All I could think was "This is going to last a MONTH, with the crappy ad!!?!" I see just now when I opened a new forum thread page that it did not resize. You think enough people complained to GardenWeb already?

this is a good guide for those kinds of browser messages, the one described I think falls in the 503 error category. Decoding and dealing with browser error messages I have seen the error message you describe with the try again, that is a firefox error message. In most cases when I have seen it, it was because the actual website I was trying to access was down or very slow responding and would work after waiting a bit. If you are continually getting them it is sounding like you are dropping the connection on that pc to the net. "503: Service unavailable This is a "temporarily out of order" sign, and it's sometimes reported as Gateway timeout. It means either the server that hosts the site is currently not working or is unavailable, your ISP's server is down, or your own system or company Internet gateway (if you're on a LAN) is not working. How to handle it: Wait a minute and try again. If you get the message for a lengthy period or with every attempt to connect to any site, check that your PC and LAN connections are functioning, and then check with your ISP or the remote site.
