Targus Nmeric Keypad

We no longer have our Staples, but I had bought a Targus Numeric Keypad because when I was working, I did all of my calculating on my computer which had the calculator built in on the right side of my computer. I am not sure how to get this up and running. I think it just plugs in on the side, and the only notes I have is click start; choose all programs; choose accessories; choose calculator. If I follow this procedure can I just start calculating? Thanks to anybody that can help me. Barb

    Did you try that ?

It should work as you say - the keypad just enters the same commands as the keyboard number keys did on your previous computer.
In fact even without "Calculator" running, it should enter number keys when and wherever you're typing.

Also if you're really going to use "Calculator" a lot you could make a shortcut to it on the desktop so you don't have to keep navigating via the Start menu to it.

If you find a place to plug it in, do so, and try it.
