Updating to windows 8.1 problem

I am trying to get into the store app to update to windows 8.1 with admin account. It won't let me. So then I go to the store with my regular account and try to update and push the install button and it says you must use admin account to update. I don't know what to do. Any ideas? Thank you

You need to be sure you want it. I did a lot of research since I bought my windows 8 computer. I did not like what I read and on top of that it can not be removed from some computers if you don't like it. I do not like what I read and I am sticking to classic shell because I don't see a thing wrong with it.

Does your named account have administrator rights ?
If not, use the Administrator login to give your account administrator rights.

Win8.1 final is very nice for me. Everything works perfectly so far.

No my ms login acct doesn't have admin rights but I tried that and it didn't work. I have one ms account, one guest account that is turned off and one admin account.
