Gestures for IE 9 ?

Hi,

I'm wondering whether there are any mouse gesture programs that will work with IE9. I don't actually use the browser much, but I do sometimes play with it once in a while. It might be a handy backup browser if I could at least have gestures. I tried the IE9 gesture add-on (which didn't work at all -- couldn't get it to install right) as well as gMote (which apparently doesn't work with IE, at least it didn't work with mine).

Do any IE users here have mouse gestures with it that work ? Or does anyone know of some other gestures program that might work with IE ?

Unfortunately, most of the results simply direct one back to the IE gestures add-on which many (including myself) have found doesn't work well -- if at all. Oh, well. I'm happy using FF and Iron anyway, so it's no great loss. But I'll keep my eye open in case anyone can/does make a more efficient gesture add-on for IE.

I would try: Clear the IE cache>Manually type in and enter the site desired>Set the current page as the homepage. I normally use FF with my Vista. However, when I do tinker with IE9 it will report as to blocked sites, expired certificates, and such. It's no big deal as far as I am concerned. What's one click? DA

I think all you have to do is select the filter list(s) you want to use from the selection box and that's it. Actually, if I randomly select various choices from the filter selection list, I can watch %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Adblock Plus for IE\patterns.ini change, both in size and time-stamp. You're welcome to try this if you want. I put it together when I was trying to see how certain sites detect the use of adblocker and pop up a "Please disable your adblocker you dirty rat" type message. What it does is attempt to use a JavaScript file called "advertisement.js" to write a hidden div(ision) to the page. The page then checks for the existence of that hidden div(ision). If the div(ision) exists, it assumes you must not be using a working adblocker. If the div(ision) does not exist, it assumes your adblocker prevented it's creation and thus must be working properly. I simplified/modified what I found from a "search", so can't guarantee how accurate it is. Hopefully they'll email you back. Personally, if it's blocking ads, I'd think it's working fine though.
