it should now be listed with the disable button usable and you can disable it in the add on list, when it was first secretly installed the .NET framework assistant did not have an option to disable or remove it which really did not go over well at all. I personally do not have it on any of my firefox browsers. Googling g.impclksrv.com doesn't return much. Similarweb.com seems to indicate that one of the sites that refers/referred traffic to it is Amazon. Traceroute claims it to be located in(near?) Dallas, Texas on a server referred to as "li106-34.members.linode.com" with a current IP of 72.14.191.34. "linode.com" itself seems to be a legitimate cloud host but "li106-34.members.linode.com" has a bad WOT rating. g.impclksrv.com is running Apache web server (version 2.2.15) on a machine running CentOS. Useless info? Probably, except maybe to show that it is indeed a real machine, all booted up and... ? On Amazon, can a private merchant include HTML in their item's description? A video? If so, maybe someone included content hosted on g.impclksrv.com and it's no longer accessible? Very much a wild guess. That bad WOT probably concerns me most.

agree with txKen! registered today to bring us this unbelievable announcement LOL there is no one cure for those kinds of infections they have to be addressed by a layered approach and the use of some very specialized programs under the supervision of a security forum professional. Other wise you are not done with it.

Thanks Raven and LindaKathy. I uninstalled the other one. I think it was ARC2013. I have it written down at the desk, but am in my lazy boy with the laptop. I installed malwarebytes from LindaKathy's link. It only found 2 objects. I am still very slow on start up. If I have time this week, I will take it in to Staples and have them clean it up. I may have to pay for it now tho. When I bought it, I got free tune ups, but I've had it for almost 3 years now I think, so I don't know if they will still do it free.
