Adobe Integrated Runtime, also known as Adobe AIR,

It's for building Internet applications.

Maybe:

Avast is telling you it needs updating not sure if Avast watches over programs like that, but I'm sure you don't need adobe air.

RE: Adobe Air

zep,
Avast has a popup that tells what needs to be updated.
Looks like I don't need it so I'll put it in ignore.
It is in add & delete so should I just delete it?

Yes I would remove it. You will never use it.

RE: Adobe Air

zep,
I know it is a Anti virus software BUT it does tell me when a main program like Thunderbird & Firefox is not up to date...the adobe ones is another one it warns U about if they aren't up to date. It doesn't do the windows updates. I had a update on avast a few days ago. Now when I put the curcer on the rolling ball a popup says, "everything is good" then it gives me the (version I think) which is 214.9.0.2006 under that is 131024.0
Anyway mine is up to date as I try to keep things updated for security.
