It look me a while to figure out who mystic and bubbles were...more coffee! How are you accessing these two accounts -- desktop mail software (e.g., Outlook) or online. If the latter, are they from the same provider (e.g., Hotmail)?

You can "export" your email addresses to a USB drive and "import" them on your new computer File->Export->Address Book->Text File-> using "Browse" find the location of your USB drive. Name your file and follow the steps in the wizard to finish. On your new computer go to File->Import and follow the steps to import the data from your USB drive You can do the same for exporting/importing your Internet Favorites. It is located under File->Export. Just follow the wizard. I have never had any luck moving the actual email files. I am sure there is a way - but every attempt I have made has failed. I know there was a software you could purchase to "back up" OE, and then restore it on a new machine. I didn't want to buy anything though. You could try forwarding the emails (from your old machine) that you want to keep to yourself - then retrieving them on the new machine.

Yes, it's spam and it's called spoofing as mentioned. While it's not technically "dangerous" to open them, you could be asking for more spam by opening it. Often they'll put in a little code to tell if you've opened it and that verifies the email address. A verified email address is worth much more than an unverified one in the spamming world. Not unlike a known telephone number is worth more to a telemarketer. When you get this stuff, delete it, or pay the price. OJ, sometimes people will do the right thing and use BCC when they send mail to multiple people. They usually put their own address in the "To" field and "BCC" the others so addresses will be hidden. It's the right thing to do. Now that doesn't mean that it's *not* spam though! :) People who send to everyone in their address book and not BCC, and also the people who just forward hoaxes and other junk should have their computers confiscated.

A few things... - Eliminate straight in line connections. This may sometimes require an extra couple of bends to create offsets. - Insulation within the ducts. - Silencers (e.g., from Fantech) work quite well. - Hang duct w/ perf strapping and don't let duct or fittings come in contact w/ framing or structural members of the house. - Insulation in walls. - Hang drywall w/ iso-channel, or do double layer w/ green glue or use pre-made acoustic drywall. ------------- Also (reduce noise at source!): - Sound damping materials in rooms that will have a lot of noise or that you want to be quiet. - Eliminate parallel surfaces. EG, ceiling sloped 5° so it's not parallel w/ floor. Opposing walls similarly un-parallel by a few °.
