I'm sick of FireFox!

I'm having nothing but problems with it and I want to get rid of it completely. Perhaps replace it with Safari? I still use IE as a backup, but don't like it either.

Please help me with this. I don't have a clue how to do this. I went to delete it from my program files and it says it needs to be done by an administrator????? I own this computer.

Sorry if I sound too frustrated, but I really have had it with all of this. TIA

Did you try removing Firefox from programs an features? I don't understand why your deleting from the program files folder?

Start> control panel> Programs an Features, remove Firefox from there.

I'm curious what your Firefox problems are. I have four browsers on my computer and Firefox is by far the easiest and most reliable.

I'm not saying you shouldn't remove it, but I'm assuming you are aware that removing it will not make your computer run any better. An imperfect uninstall of some programs, like antivirus software, can complicate things, but an installed, but unused, browser is typically not going to affect anything.

Erica, I am obsessing over counters and am terrified I won't like whatever I choose, so I get how you're feeling. From the first photo, I THINK you may be seeing a slight (green?) undertone in the pewter glaze that isn't present in the Torquay. You MUST wait until all the elements are in place, including lighting to see how the cabinet color looks. But really, I don't believe, marble and/or marble look quartz needs to "match". They sit serenely on top of their bases and just are. Both your counters and cabinets are lovely, so please feel free to keep carrying on, :)

Hey Ingrid have you ever tried or heard of silicon to help makes plants stronger against heat/drought? I just started using it sporadically... maybe every couple weeks or so. I think I read Henry and Nik recommending it in the roses forum. In the citrus forum it's a very popular topic too. I just started using Protekt by Dyna Grow. It is supposed to help make foliage/petals stronger and thicker among other things, which will help them stand up to things like drought and radiant heat better. I apply it with a hose end sprayer, otherwise I would probably apply it more often. It's recommended to apply it with every watering, but takes so much time to get the hose out and apply that way. I have only applied it 1 time so far to my roses and 2 times to my citrus so I don't really have an opinion on if it's working or not, but it might be worth looking into. Maybe just for the problem roses, before you dig them up and get rid of them.

Now that I know how old he is - I don't think it was apparent to me. The point he's at in his career doesn't make him seem that much older than where she is in her schooling. Your point about him still trying to be a comedian at his age is interesting. He lives with roommates and is pointed out to him his place is borderline dangerous. She has the nice apartment. Although he has his family home which is very nice and he does relate foremost to his family until the very end. Thanks for commenting.

Large format tiles often have some degree of bowing. I believe that industry standard is to lay these tiles with one third overlap so that the highest point of the tile isn't meeting the lowest point of the tile next to it, as would be the case with 50/50 overlap. That's my understanding, anyway. So, I'd question the skills of tilers who don't know about proper overlaps for big tiles.

I wonder if you've cleared your history-cache-cookies lately. I also am curious what version you're running, and how many add-ons you've added to it. If you want to uninstall a program, you typically don't start "deleting" things...unless you want more problems than you had before. Millions of people use Firefox with great success. If you think Firefox is the problem, I predict you'll be just as unhappy with Safari or any other browser. I think you're having a PEBKAC day.

I have had two recent people with firefox problems .. within past maybe 2 weeks. Simple uninstall didn't work..... both had a hidden folder locked in the user tree. I probably simply went to safe mode.

Both had quick scans of SuperAntiSpyware discoveries too.
