First off, thanks, that was a sweet comment! Glad you enjoy my blog. Now for your questions the best I can. 1. Sun - That's considered partial shade at best, though everything but true sun lovers should do ok there. By sun lovers I mean tomatoes, peppers, corn and the like. But heck, give whatever you want a try, you're not out much if it doesn't work, then you'll know. That's what we all did, hehe. 2. Peas - I went Oregon Sugar Snap. They grow 30 inches tall and like a trellis, but I think Granny's idea of a stake or stick in the ground for them to climb is a great idea! Go with whatever you like that works in your area, but check how tall it grows. Web sites tell you. You want one that grows shorter. Sorry I can't be more help, our climates are too dissimilar. 3. Trellis - Gee, my trellis was as simple as 2x4s bolted to the bed with netting strung across it. Regular boards keep it sturdy, but I don't have your wind to deal with. Not sure how it would hold out, but I know you can get all of it at ACE. Note I love my local True Value, shop locally! 4. Peas - We know what's dear to your heart, this is a duplicate question, so you only asked 6... so don't feel bad that you asked 7, hehe. 5. Veggie - I'd have to say my cucumbers, they're amazingly productive and versitile. I use them on sandwiches and salads and I made pickles for my wife. Can't beat that! 6. Wood - I'm biased, since I heard the same thing as you and went with pressure treated. It lasts forever and neither my brother nor I have had any ill effects from it. I'm growing organic (I think), but don't care about any label, so I went treated. You're call, but cheaper sounds good enough for me in this economy! yes we wanted aunt out. For the 3 1/2 years I have been in my relation with my husband and with my SD never once has she lived on her own. I undertand needing help but she is an adult with 2 kids a "degree" or whatever they get i guess certificate for CNA or something yet she wants to work at a seafood market. Did you plan to live with your family forvere? We wanted aunt out for the drugs - grandma is annoying but we dont care if she is there we rather her be there because she can atleast keep an eye on things. B/F says they are both leaving because they are tired of her sh*t.... She doesnt pay her share of the bills or keep her room clean he said idk. He is moving out too... Ever since she wanted to take SD to see her father her family has been fighting with her. I believe thats what started the whole "moving out" situation. If she does struggle i would say there are so many ways to get help here. there is HUD housing for low income fmailies but she already had that and was kicked off the prgram in 2 months.. MYFAMPG - if you had that oportunity would you have screwed that up? nice home in a nice area RENT FREE?? i know i wouldnt have. Basically my point is - i do not have pitty for her. I dont feel bad she is about to be left in the cold. Obviously her family is finally over the whole situation. In the 3 years this is the second time her fmaily has done this and BM went to live with her friend - her friend had sent me an email how she is kicking her out because her electric bill went form 70 to 140 and BM refuses to help. She burns her bridges and soon no one will want to help her. Cant say i blame them either...

I hope no other readers felt I was 'judging' them, or anyone. I don't mention anyone's weight to them (nor do I gossip about it). Should someone tell me she is 'fluffy', 'curvy', etc. I would be silent. I DO wonder if encouraging avoidance of the word 'fat' is helping anyone. Sometimes we talk about things like this around the KT. I'm not attempting to enlighten anyone; just asking if my 'take' resonates with anyone else. Chrysalis -- I haven't said a word about health costs due to obesity. We do have epidemic obesity. I wonder about the causes, and possible 'cures'. I told the story because I thought it might help someone to *consider* if there are psychological reasons contributing to a weight problem. I have questioned, not made judgements. I feel sympathy for the stressed military spouses we see on TV. I wonder if they could get some support and help! I am *asking* if anyone else had wondered the same things. No person in our culture wishes and hopes to be fat. (Well, we've heard of a few, unique individuals!) I know there are non-psychological reasons for some people to be fat. Is there something wrong with asking people to consider if therapy could help them if they are struggling? As for me, personally, I am now a scrawny little old lady, but I was an unhappy adolescent of 150 lbs. and unhappy again as a middle-aged housewife at 140 lbs. I suspect my current ills are genetic inheritance, but also just part of wearing out -- and living in a society where I am tested to discover the ills!

Yeah that's correct, most ppl with morgellons say there are foreign fibers under their skin. I don't see foreign fibers under my skin, nor do I have open wounds that won't heal- but everything else they complain of seems to be happening to me. I had posted a couple things on here and other gardening forums asking what kind of house plant pest I might have. None of the plants seem to be suffering but I started seeing strange things when we brought the plants in. I had heard of Morgellons before but since I didn't think these things were coming from me I never thought that could be it. Turns out it's what ppl with morgellons see too. It started with (what I can best describe as) small brown eyelash size and shape hairs(first dismissed as some kind of soil, then thought maybe something to do with fleas), then small white fibers the same size and shape(assumed they were some kind of larvae so I've been googling like crazy to no avail) and clear ones in and around sinks(tho they were drain fly larvae), white dots that are fluffy like lint or translucent and stick to everything (figured it was lint or mealy or wooly aphid or insect eggs). I have been seeing these things all over the house. From the ceiling to the basement, in the corners of drawers. And now these dark specks, especially in the shower and my shoes, that I was sure must be dead mites. I never see any of these things move, I never see them come off of me and none of them are insects or insect excrement that I can id. Apparently nobody else on here can id them either. When they first showed up I just felt uneasy about them bc their too uniform to be dust or dirt or potting soil if you ask me... and at that same time i felt itchy- I thought I had allergies, my guinea pig died, and my dog got sick.( I treated her for worms and gave her expensive flea and tick stuff and she went back to normal. ) I live in one of the most deer tick infested counties in the country, Hunterdon County NJ. I had Lyme's before but I may have been infected again and never treated. In fact, recently I've been thinking I might have Lyme's again bc Ive been having some common symptoms but then are are other things that just seem off and unexplainable. Once in a great while I feel like I get bit or stung but don't see a bug and don't see a mark left behind. And just the past couple of days I've been feeling swarmed and stung or bit. I thought fleas we're swarming my ankles but I've dealt with them before and there are no fleas in this house or on my dog. No mealybugs, no mites, no scale, no carpet beetles, no clothes moths, no bed bugs... I can't figure it out! I would love for someone to prove me wrong! I would love for someone to make sense of this. I have been feeling like hair is running off my fingers under water, in the sink or over my whole body in the shower but I never see anything. It's such a creepy strange sensation. Again, I never see anything move, nothing seems to have antenna or legs to Id it as an insect, just "lint" and small hair like fibers of different colors that are appearing out of nowhere and ending up all over the place. And when I'm seeing them my dog looks hyper-vigilant and worried. WT heck is going on!!!!!
