| Hi, on my Windows XP computer I got an update notice from Secunia for 'Akamai Download Manager ActiveX Control 2.x'.
Is this program necessary, or would I be better off taking it off of my computer? There seems to be a lot of unsecure versions (?). The version on my computer right now is 2.2.5.0. Thanks. |

| get rid of it most people dont need a download manager unless very slow connection doing lots of large downloads. Then they might have reconnect value is all. |
