| Hi all -
What experience do you have with the companies that backup your computer? You pay a monthly fee. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the one that I think is most common ... drat. But I know that Kim Komando advertises it. Oh - Carbonite, perhaps? Do you use any of these companies? Worth it? Best? Advice? Thanks - |

| Be you own backup company with a remote network hard drive. There's dropbox.. its a sync'd folder on your drive for maybe documents & pictures.. really anything you want. I think maybe 2gb free for personal use or pay for more. Then its on your drive & online their drives too. If you crash and burn.. its still there. Gives you a public web server folder too.. I use that public folder everyday .. sort of a personal file server / website. Adrive.com 50gb free .. but, to back up online their way takes some thought & timely effort on your part. |
Here is a link that might be useful: Dropbox 2gb free (+250mb for both u&i, link referral :)

| I have a few online storage lockers that I store some of my important stuff at. I do not use Carbonite, but if you choose it you should go through Kim's site all her users get a discount for it. I use Adrive they give you 50gig of free storage space which is a lot. |
