Navigating Youtube and Windows Android problem?

I log in to Youtube and it wants me to select channels to display on my Youtube home page, with many of the categories having several hundred channels. I can scroll the first 100 channels, but there is no forward button or any other means I can find to get to the next page listing more channels. How do I get to the next page? (I searched Youtube help; it wasn't any help)

This problem started a few months ago on my Windows PC when I got my first tablet. On the PC when I open a new tab in Firefox I get a screen that resembles bookmarks on an Android tablet. Has Android caused the problems on my PC? Any idea how to fix it?

Do you want to have channels? I usually don't bother to login to YouTube, but, when I do, it offers the option to select channels -- which I ignore -- and go about my business. I've got several PCs, use Firefox 99% of the time, and I have an Android tablet and two Android phones run (all running different versions of the Android operating system). I don't have any problems with YouTube, and nothing strange appears when I open new tabs or windows on any of the devices. I don't know why you are having the problem, but I don't think it has to do with a PC-Android interaction. All I can suggest is to go into your Firefox Options and see if there is any setting you can change.

By the way what OS are you running on the PC, and which build of Firefox do you have?

No correlation. Have you even ever physically connected the tablet to the pc?

Now if you went into your youtube account while on android and made changes to the account or the settings that is done to the account at the youtube site so those changes will stick and show that way on the pc or other devices because you changed the account itself.

I have a youtube account but rarely sign in to it and I don't bother with channels. Generally I use the search function to go directly to the youtube I am looking for.

Does it not say at the bottom get more or something like that?

Genes: I watched the video and see that the two Tim 6A firmware files are in an App Installers folder. This is not how the files on my SD card are structured. These are the files on my SD card: .android_secure LOST.DIR firmware2 firmware-discovery SDFormatter setup They are all in the root of the SD card (i.e. not in a folder). As I've mentioned previously, I'm an Android novice, so I followed the directions on the Apad forum. I DL'ed SD Formatter and Tim 6A onto the PC. Then I extracted both (SD Formatter first) onto the SD card. Since your SD card now has some files on it, I suggest you use SD Formatter again and select the Full Overwrite option; this will include erasing the files currently on the card. Then DL Tim 6A from Tim's thread (link below). Further suggestions from the gurus is to have your FT battery at least 70% charged and also plug the FT into an electric circuit before beginning the update. Then with the FT turned off, insert the prepared SD card. Turn on the FT and, hopefully, you'll see the Tim 6A DL begin. It's also been mentioned to be sure you feel the SD card "click" into place. My card seems to sit deep in the slot and I use a fingernail to push it just enough to seat it properly and hear that faint "click". Here is a link that might be useful: Tim 6A link

If you took the picture with the camera on the phone the picture is stored on your phone. You can Log into your eBay account and using the browser on your phone or the app if you have one. Go to the picture on your phone and there should be a share icon, it looks like a sideways V with dots on the ends on Android, on iPhone it looks like a box with an arrow pointing upward out of the box. . Click on the icon and it will show a list of ways to share the pictures. Email, messenger, etc. I have always preferred to simply remove the memory card from the camera, when using an actual camera, and inserting it into the card reader on the computer. Then accessing directly from the SD card the pictures to download to the computer. It's a simple process.

I assume you tried rebooting phone and computer. Maybe the refurbished phone is defective. I would let apple deal with it. Google photos doesn't generate any posting codes that I can see as I use the app on my phone and I don't think imgur does either. If they do some one please explain how you do it. That's the problem most are charging now for 3rd party hosting. Photobucket has changed their prices and the cheapest I think is $4 a month now for 3rd party hosting. Try picture trail as I believe they still have free 3rd party hosting. I am using imgbb. Can't store all my photos there but it does allow me to upload one at a time and generates posting codes. Some are also using funkyimg but again can upload one at a time and not store them. Flickr was bought out by smugnug I think so imagine they will be charging for 3rd party hosting soon. Bad thing about Flickr is the app doesn't generate posting codes like the photobucket app does. I may end up getting the cheapest plan since I used to use the app on my phone a lot for posting. I have a desktop Windows-based pc, as well as an iPad and iPhone. I can transfer photos from the iPad and iPhone to my computer simply by connecting the iPad and/or iPhone to the computer with a USB cord. Well, to clarify, the end that goes into the iPad and iPhone has a Lightning connector, and the end that connects to the computer has a regular USB connector. Once the device is connected, I get a popup window on my pc saying that a new device has been detected, and asking me what I want to do. I click on the choice to explore files on the device. Then I navigate to the folders with the photos, and do the copy/paste thing (there are several different ways to do that, but you should be familiar with them). I don't do "move" because if anything hiccups (such as a power outage, etc.), I don't want to lose the photos. Once they've been copied to the desired destination, I can delete them from the iPad/iPhone. Easy peasy.

I've never connected the tablet directly to the pc. The pc is running Win7. In the past I've usually just gone directly to a youtube video without logging in, like Raven describes. I haven't changed any of my account settings on Youtube. But now when I go to the site on my pc I get a page that wants me to set up channels, and there isn't any way I can find to even get to the youtube home page. It's weird. I'm running Firefox 14.01. Settings might be the cause. I remember when I got the first tablet, playing with how the tablet browser displayed differently at sites using the android vs pc desktop display option inside the browser on the tablet. For a while afterwards when I visited sites like Huffpost, the site would ask which display I preferred. Thanks for the responses. I'll try to check the settings at Youtube.

You are two updates behind in Firefox. The present version os 16.02. Suggest you update your browser and see if that helps. Even so, for security reasons you should be running the latest version.
