Sounds like you already have internet working but your mail settings are off a notch... Perhaps look here.. Open Outlook Express Click on the menu item Tools, then select Accounts Click on the Mail tab if not already selected. Highlight MSN which hopefully is marked default. Click on Properties button. Click on the tab for Connections Now you should see a drop down box, change it to say dial up modem or something similar as apparetnly its trying to use a Network Connection which the norm if you have a high speed connection like dsl or cable. Think you need that box to say use the dial up modem. Hopefully thats the simple fix.

Mikie, I'll try again to upload the theme from my web browser, but I really couldn't tell how to do that from the browser itself. I do have the "Enable folder view for FTP sites" box checked. This thing has me frustrated. :) Thank you for responding. Kat

Found the problem. Service provider is making some major changes to the servers and the way we get email. I can't say the changes will be for the better (but they say it). Anyone ever heard of MailFoundry? It is the new service my provider will be using. Don't see how it can be better than Postini. Postini is no longer filtering your email, but a new product called MailFoundry is protecting your bledsoe.net email from getting SPAM and Viruses. You no longer have to log in to any web site to see what SPAM and viruses have been caught. You will get a daily email from MailFoundry showing what email has been caught and instructions on how to release an email that has been caught as SPAM. Any SPAM or Viruses will be deleted after 10 days on the MailFoundry filter. We hope this product will deliver the email you want to your inbox and catch the email you don't want.
