 o
Apple mouse acting odd

A friend of mine has a 9 month old Apple desktop computer. Today while at his house I observed something strange happening of which he has no idea how to fix.

One odd thing that is easy to explain is that when he is clicking on an email, the one above it (or maybe even below it) opens up. We both tried this and in all cases that happened.

The other odd thing is harder to explain - when he moves his mouse around the top portion of the screen, two fields become blank I think the "From" and the "Subject" headings - what happens is those areas are blank and stay that way.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Ginny

RE: Apple mouse acting odd

What email program? I have occasionally had similar problems with Hotmail...and the problem was with Hotmail, not the mouse. If this happens only with one web site, it's not likely to be a mouse problem.
