| I purchased a download of embroidery designs. It is a very large file and I want to delete some of the data that I will never use. When I try, I get a box that says I need to provide administrator permission to delete the file. |
Follow-Up Postings:

| You might look in your control panel at ' Users ' See if you have Administrator privileges ? Perhaps let us know what version of windows you have,, maybe the program name too. |
|

| Right click on it and allow admin rights. |
|
| Hi casi Have you resolved the file deletion issue? If not Boot the computer to Safe Mode and delete from there. Joe |

| If you have solved the problem .. here is a tool for future 'ownership' problems. |
Here is a link that might be useful: Take Ownership
|
| Good tool! and the user will need it if the file does not delete in safe mode. |
