Now another question...can't delete a file

I purchased a download of embroidery designs. It is a very large file and I want to delete some of the data that I will never use. When I try, I get a box that says I need to provide administrator permission to delete the file.

You might look in your control panel at ' Users '
See if you have Administrator privileges ?

Perhaps let us know what version of windows you have,, maybe the program name too.

Hi casi

Have you resolved the file deletion issue?

If not Boot the computer to Safe Mode and delete from there.

If you have solved the problem .. here is a tool for future 'ownership' problems.

Here is a link that might be useful: Take Ownership

Good tool! and the user will need it if the file does not delete in safe mode.
