where is the app- now i don't see it

A Samsung rep showed me a free i-tunes app so you can watch your security. It was an i-tunes. Now can'y find it anywhere. It was free.

If you downloaded an app to your computer and don't know how or where to find it, then you have no business using a computer until you either provide more information on what you did do or you figure it out for yourself. If that is too crude & rude...too bad. While you are pondering this, you will no doubt be exploring the complexities of free games and unnecessary toolbars. Be on the lookout for "Babylon" and "Funmoods"...they will make your computing experience very interesting.

If it was an app from iTunes, then it would have been for an Apple product (ipod, iPhone, or iPad). Do you have an Apple product? It just seems odd that a Samsung employee would be suggesting products for a competitor.

If this was a Samsung phone, then you'd been looking for the Google Play store (Android's equivalent of iTunes).

I'm having the same trouble trying to plant Sunflowers and while I haven't seen them, I'm almost positive it is the squirrels. We don't have deer or rabbit. It might have been a groundhog, but he would have eaten a lot of things and made a huge mess. I've sown the seeds three times already. After the first set of seedlings disappeared [all but two] I sowed more seed and put hardware cloth down over the seed area and some of those edges were sharp. They still managed to get in between them a little but it looked like they gave up. But, to get back at me, they pulled out the two remaining sunflower seedlings that were about 6 inches tall already. After the second set of seeds germinated, I didn't want them to grow up through the wire, so I took it off and weeded around them. Back they came and did the same thing. So I've started the third bath which are already up. I've kept the wire covering on and bent it up a little to allow the sunflower seedlings a little room to grow. This time I am not going to weed around them because I think disturbing the soil at all, is a trigger for attracting them to the area. I even left the pulled sunflower seedlings right where they left them. If this doesn't work, I'm going to try using the netting I have over the strawberries, that seems to be working fine for the strawberries. Maybe that way I can get them to a decent size before they can get at them. I hope.

Kevin,when do you normally uncover? The thing that was so cool about this snow is that when I left the house at 2 or 3pm there was still at least a few inches left and when I got home around 5:30pm it was all gone!

About a week and a half ago I shoved every bit of sewing detritus to the back end of my huge cutting table and brought out the wrapping paper. This was fine while I was wrapping gifts. Then the DH and the DS went into my studio to wrap gifts. I may never see the table again, LOL. Paper scraps, ribbon bits, tape on the cutting mat, and where the heck did they hide by 6 1/2 square ruler??!! I must find that before I hit it with the rotary cutter. I usually use the day after Christmas as a day to sort and play with new fabrics (DH bought me (5) 1/2 yard cuts and a 2 yard cut of gorgeous fabrics this year - he knows the way to my heart), but it will have to wait this year. I love taking this time of the year to sort and organize. BUT - my son has a new girlfriend. She's gone for the holiday, of course (they are seniors at UT Austin), but she will be back on Monday. He wants decorated cookies to take to her. I have plenty of gingerbread cookies baked (I give them to the neighbors), but he was serious - he wants to decorate them himself, because Krisztina doesn't believe that he can. He's really quite good at it. So I'm going to be up to my ears in royal icing in several colors - I mix, he decorates, LOL. Here are some he did last Valentine's Day (for a former girlfriend).

Dedtired, 'troop' of kangaroos is an accepted collective noun, but that which is more commonly used is a 'mob' of kangaroos. We have had a particularly cold snap and areas that haven't had snow for decades are enjoying it. For many of you who have deep snow annually, you would probably laugh at the amount we get excited about in these parts.

If it's an iTunes app to access your Samsung security cameras, might it have been "iPOLiS mobile"?

No- I was just looking at different security at Sam's Club. Particularly Uniden. The Samsung rep showed me how the iTunes could do most systems, and that you don't need an 'i' product to download the app.
azinoh- maybe you need a better basic understanding of the English language- nowhere does my post say I downloaded it to anything. Read. The verb here is 'showed'.
chuggerguy- Thanks for iPolis- I don't think that is the one, but it looks like it can do alot. Found out Uniden has their own app.

Maybe if you don't actually need help with a computer, you should seek out a more appropriate forum. It was not unreasonable to assume you needed help with a computer since you posted in THE COMPUTER HELP FORUM.

This looks like a simple case of not enough information in the original post. I too thought since this forum is computer specific the post concerned a download. I even had my crystal ball on and it didn't glow.

I have noticed in the last few years more and more off-topics being posted here. Perhaps if requested GW would create an electronic device forum for on point questions such as this. Or, the questions which are by no stretch of the imagination computer related might be posted on the OT side of this forum. Of course, cross-over questions would still be reasonable and welcomed.
