yes we are both enjoying them, it is a good additional reader for me and is my husbands first. It is so light weight compared to my PDN it is very easy to hold. I have added some books on the SD card also. For $49 for us it was a worthwhile purchase. I do not know if they will re-run that sale price or not, I told a friend about it and he found a CVS with several he bought all of them to give as Christmas gifts.

I answer to almost anything LOL, I am R-C and RC on several forums because people just shortened it and that is fine, my real life nickname is Raven because of my raven black hair that is now silver and black. I have other various names on various other forums, but I have been RavenCajun for a long time, however I have found I am not the only ravencajun out there. Jasdip actually this is the only non computer related forum I do visit these days, in the past I did participate in a few and I have had several forums that I was admin on, I just don't have the time anymore so I had to cut back. I really do enjoy doing this so as long as I am able I plan on doing it! Again thank you all, all of us that volunteer at help forums do it because we enjoy it and it is our way of giving back but it sure is nice to hear thank you it makes it all so very worth it.

I have the Pandigital novel reader tablet and I also have a lookbook ereader. I absolutely love the pandigital and am so glad to have it, I can do so much on it since it is not just a reader but also a tablet, surf, email, listen to music, videos and pictures lots of stuff and since it uses epub format it also works with overdrive and the library and so many of the free book sites. I highly recommend it. And since it is an android tablet you can add many of the android apps including other reader apps like the kindle app so on this one tablet you can read various formats. I love the feature that is night read I can read with absolutely no lights on and not bother anyone. the lookbook is just an ereader it is exactly like the litarati by sharper image made by the same company and I got it at CVS on sale for $49 which was a real steal. I would not get any reader that is discontinued they are moving very fast in doing upgrades and updates so getting the latest version is absolutely the best idea. the lookbook is darn near the exact same thing as the sharper image Literati, same company makes them. We LOVE ours, this was my husbands first ereader and he never puts it down now. Yes you can read while it is plugged in. Battery last several hours it depends on useage of course and you want to keep the wifi turned off if not using it to download because the wifi uses up the batter faster. It does have the black with white text for night reading. I does use epub format books so yes you can get library books with it using over drive, but I have not done that. I generally just use the SD memory card, which I bought, and load the books that I saved to my pc right to the SD card and then put it in the lookbook and read them that way. The internal memory is a nice size but I find it much easier just to keep all my books in a folder on my pc then just move them to the SD card and that way I can use that SD card on any of my devices that use an SD card. My pandigital novel also uses SD card and epub so I move the card between the 2 and my husband and I can swap out cards too. You can get them right to your lookbook from the kobo store, but you do have to set up your kobo account and enter that info. I have done several of their free books that way. But you will need to keep the wifi on for doing that part. My main problem is that I am so used to using touch screen devices I keep trying to flip the pages on the screen instead of touching the button LOL How To Get Free eBooks From Libraries Using Overdrive you can get good free books at www.feedbooks.com just find one you want and select the epub format, download it to your pc (I created a new folder on my desktop for books) save it to your desired location. Then using a memory card reader (you may have one built into your pc or you may need to pick one up at walmart or somewhere they are quite cheap, stick the SD card into the reader that is plugged into the usb port of your pc and you can either just drag the book from the folder to the SD card icon or you can right click on the book and choose to copy to and then select the SD card. Once done loading up the SD card go to the bar down by your clock and find the safely remove icon and select that to safely remove your reader and card from the pc. That is it very very simple to do. I have to go look at mine I think the night read selection is in the display section of the menu. Also you can go to their website and find the manuals and stuff there too. HELPFUL TOOLS this is the thread we had over on Computer help about it. Lookbook ereader $49 at CVS again for under $50 to me it is a deal. I would not have paid the $100 or more price it was originally.
