I have noted in the lower Windows XP menu bar when opening my Firefox browser that the process is spending some time at a site l.yimg I wonder what that is about. The home page is at att.yahoo I have not checked for other home pages, maybe this is a step in getting to a yahoo client.

Thanks.

My opinion...Firefox is calling the remote computer that serves up advertisements on this site to send the ad images so you can see them.

Type "yimg" (sans quotes) into Google and more than you will ever want to know is there.

Hint: Your thoughts are on the right track.
