I have an HP All In One printer. Every time I turn it on I am forced to print an align cartridge page. I can't see any way to rid myself of this aggravation. It is wasting ink and paper and time. I haven't put a new cartridge in for months. Any HELP???

dahlia, I have an HP Officjet V40 fax/printer and I can avoid aligning cartridges if I press and hold ENTER and press SETUP at the same time. Might be worth a try.

How about removing the printer cartridge(s) physically, reinsert, and then do an alignment? Avoid touching the contacts. HPs are fussy printers so if you do a software removal and reinstall be sure to do it as required by HP. No corner or step cutting. DA
