 o
video sizing issue

Hi everyone
I have learned a lot from this form but I have a problem that I don't think has been posted before.

I have a fairly new laptop using Win 7 and I watch a lot of subbed videos in Youtube and other video sites. The problem I am having is that all the videos seem to be bigger than my viewing screen and are cropped on top , bottom and both sides. A minor problem for most videos but with subtitles sometimes the letters are not showing enough for me to read them. The videos look fine when viewed on my old desktop computer so I know that it is a setting on my laptop.

I have tried changing the resolution, tried resizing the page itself through the browser options in both explorer and firefox. In internet options I have enabled automatic image resizing. Nothing seems to work.

Don`t know if it makes a difference or not but I have the laptop hooked up to my flat screen TV but the cropped view is on both screens.

Any suggestions as to what would solve this issue.

Thanks

RE: video sizing issue

I Zoom youtube at times to make it sort of Full browser Screen from youtube middle size setting. Ctrl + Mouse wheel.

You might want to reinstall your display driver from your laptop makers support downloads pages.
