Started getting ads yesterday.

And it has slowed down gardenweb tremendously! It's making me crazy!

Using Firefox and thought I had Adblock. Now, I can't even find Adblock on my computer. Where would I find it at? Until yesterday I never saw an ad of any kind. What I'm getting is those google ads on the right-hand side of the screen.

I tried to download Adblock and my computer said the file was corrupt and would not download.

Can someone help?

Adblock Plus?

You should be able to find in under "Tools>Add-ons>Extensions" if you have it. Perhaps it's disabled?

If need be, you can grab it from addons.mozilla.org or adblockplus.org.

BTW, I can't vouch for it, don't really use IE... but for those that do: Adblock Plus for IE

Thanks chugger.

I do not have any add-ons listed, which is quite odd so I went to your link to download Adblock Plus and this is the message I got. "The add-on downloaded from addons.mozilla.org could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt."

Earlier today I did run Malwarebytes and Avast and also ran CCleaner. Maybe I should remove Firefox and download it again?

Ok, I'm good to go now after resetting FF.

Yeah, I've had to do that "Reset" before too. It can work wonders.

Anyway, glad to hear you got it fixed.
